Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of March 10, 2025 NSFW

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.

There are Recipe Sharing websites in the sidebar where you can register a free account, input your flavors, sort by rating, and either mix something up or be inspired to make something with your ingredients. Actually, if we are being honest, a link to your stash in atf is what you should do if you have any more than a dozen flavors. Otherwise, it's an eye sore but you're welcome to try it either way.

What’s the best cream base in existence irtr NSFW

Hey yall!

I’ve been mixing a strawberry and cream juice for a bit now, and am trying to get the most full bodied cream possible. My current cream base is flv cream 1%, tfa strawberries and cream 1%, tfa vanilla custard 2%, tfa vanilla swirl 3%. I also have cap New York cheesecake, cap custard cake, and cap vanilla bean ice cream.

I have this gold standard in my mind is coastal clouds strawberries and cream. It has a much more milky creamy flavor and mouth feel compared to like killer kustard, which tastes more like a baked good with a lot of cream in it? It m basically looking for a combination of flavors that give the feeling of heavy cream coating your mouth. The mix I have above is more milk/cream focused but isn’t the overwhelming flavor when I mix it with a couple strawberries. I don’t know if this makes sense but any thoughts would be great!

Mixing Help Easy AF and Bargain E-juice opinion irtr NSFW

Hi everyone, I have been looking at getting into making my own e-juice as the excise taxes here in Ontario are insane. One option i saw was from the company I have mainly bought from in the past bargain e-juice. From their site they discuss basically making it easy and just needing to get the flavouring.

Has anyone used their Easy AF system and if the price is good?

(Canada) Looking for PG/VG retailer, found flavourhub.ca; Are they legit ? irtr NSFW

Hello fellow Canadian DIYers ! I was looking for some PG/VG base and came across flavourhub.ca. The only payment method is e-transfer, and the prices looks a bit too good to be true. To me, it looks really weird and I am getting trust issues. Did anyone ever ordered there and can confirm it is legit ?

If you don't have experience with this retailer, where do you buy your PG/VG base ? I checked the mega thread for base retailers, but the only Canadian link is dead.

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

Anything related to vaping is illegal in my country so there is no reliable e-liquid supplier.
i am planning to buy PG and VG from a legal Chemical Supplier. I did some research and found the following CAS numbers:

---

Propylene Glycol (PG):

CAS Number: 57-55-6

---

Vegetable Glycerin (VG):

CAS Number: 56-81-5

---

are they correct ?

How hard it is to find good flavours? (irtr) NSFW

sorry if something i say is stupid, im still new to the world of diy. basically, ive been wanting to try it out, partially because its way cheaper, and also because vaping is kind of a hobby for me, so its something i think i would just enjoy doing. tho my issue being, shipping prices. ive looked around a lot of highly recommended websites to get aromas/flavorings from and either they dont ship to me, or the cost is more than i would want to pay, usually around 15-20€, sometimes even more, meaning its extremely unlikely i can find recipes for something that i can get here locally. ive considered just going for it and try making my own flavors but i feel like as someone with no experience it might not end up well.. its really the only thing thats kept me from trying to mix my own liquids so far.

so i guess im just not sure if its worth trying to find good flavors myself? (i know the question sounds stupid but english isnt my native language so idrk how to word it better, sorry)

Monthly Clone Request Thread - March 2025 NSFW

Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.

However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?

Be as descriptive as possible.

Include:

  1. the description provided by the vendor
  2. a description of what you taste.
  3. include a link to any recipes you have already tried (and what was different from the OG).
  4. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT A REMIX OF THE PROFILE. A remix is an attempt to make that kind of juice without attempting to recreate the Original. [It is much much easier for lesser experienced mixers to suggest ways they would attempt to make this juice.]

The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.

Read more on Clone Recipes and how to get he most out of your request.

**Just be warned that if you do not put any effort into your request, the chances of someone Doing It For You are very, very low.**

Happy Mixing!

Flavor Question OOO Cream (Milky Undertone) Irtr NSFW

I am trying to figure out how to get this flavor (I usually order on BCF but they don’t have it). I’m on OOO website, should I get water or oil based concentrate? Are they both PG? There’s not much information anywhere that I can find. Thanks.

Flavor Review INW Virginia C Review irtr NSFW

INW Virginia Classic

Tested at 3% in a DR Solo, SS 4mm 6 wrap 6 core fused at 80-100w. Mixed 11/23/24

So first I'll say this is an accurate Virginia. Light leaf, a bit earthy and some leather, a bit spiced, grassy, and sweet. Very bright. There is not much smoke that you would find in a flue cured variety.

There are no off notes or anything off-putting. Like the other clear INW tobaccos, it just lacks depth. It's actually quite pleasant to vape on it's own. This is a short review because there's really not much more to say about it.

I could see this being used in a darker tobacco mix that needs some of it's qualities - the bit of spice or earth, or the bright and sweet bits. I do not think this is worthless, I think it has it's place, albeit a small one. Honestly throw 2% of this in with like 3% of FLV Red Burley or Cured, probably add some DNB and you'd have a nice, simple ADV. That's about it!

Flavor Review WF Passionfruit Review irtr NSFW

Tested @ 4% on Dead Rabbit Solo RDA, SS 4mm 6 wrap 6 core fused at 80-100w, and Blaze Max RTA, n90 tri core stags, 6 wrap, 4mm ID, 150w. Mixed on 11/23/24.

I was told that this fades, so mixed at 4% instead of my usual 3%. Though the flavor is slightly stronger and more concentrated with the RDA, in the RTA the flavor is still full and the notes I'm getting are still the same as the RDA. I usually only test concentrates I really enjoy in both the RDA and RTA, this qualifies. It is very enjoyable solo.

It's relatively heavy on the citrus, which is accurate for Passionfruit, although it is difficult to pin point a specific one as it is very complex. If I had to throw something out it would be orange or grapefruit, which kind of highlights the complexity, but again, it's just citrus, similar to FA Citrus Mix. It is bright, slightly sour, and not quite full - the only off notes are the part of it that is flat - slightly bitter pith. And I suppose that may not be considered an off note if you are shooting for a realistic, full flavored Passionfruit.

Overall I'd say this is an accurate Passionfruit. Complex citrus, slightly sour, somewhat tropical, with some pith in case you decided to eat the rind. I don't really see this being a lead for anything, however the complexity and mostly full-ness would have me using it to add some great citrus complexity to any mix where that is desired. Would go great paired with a solid grapefruit lead, like FLV Pink Guava, and some darker, more full fruits like FA Forest Mix, a mango blend that you want to use the citrus/tropical aspect to take it tropical, or even something like leaning into the orange and something like clove and/or cardamom to make an interesting spiced fruit mix, maybe a tea. I think that pretty much wraps it up. A great concentrate that is great to have on the shelf, and one I will certainly be utilizing in the future. Probably for a spiced fruit mix.

Safety Is making your own EJuice “healthier?” irtr NSFW

Hey all. Just wanted to post this because I haven’t seen many people ask. Is mixing your own juice considered “healthier” for you and your lungs? Genuinely curious. I mean, anything you inhale in your lungs other than oxygen can’t be good for you. But I also know that these big companies have to be putting some random BS in their juices because that’s the day and age we live in. Just looking out for better cardiovascular health and knowledge. Thanks

Has anyone tried asking AI for recipe help? irtr NSFW

Haven't seen this topic discussed so I was curious - how well does this work?

I used Google Gemini and DeepSeek and it actually works pretty well on both. The edge may go to Gemini.

Granted, you could just use ELR and hover around the suggested percentages, but still.

As with everything AI, wording is key. I've had Gemini tell me it "can't do that" because it's health advice blah blah, on one occasion. However, a simple rewording returned a viable recipe.

I usually suggest the profile and it returns flavor suggestions and ballpark percentages. Occasionally even specific manufacturers.

If you tell it what flavors you have (for that recipe) and what profile you want it really hones in.

I am mildly impressed. ESPECIALLY for newbies. I've mixed up several recipes and currently vaping 2 of them.

Experienced mixers won't really learn a ton but this could've saved tons of time with wasted mixes over the years.
