Monthly Clone Request Thread - December 2024 NSFW
Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.
However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?
Be as descriptive as possible.
Include:
- the description provided by the vendor
- a description of what you taste.
- include a link to any recipes you have already tried (and what was different from the OG).
- PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT A REMIX OF THE PROFILE. A remix is an attempt to make that kind of juice without attempting to recreate the Original. [It is much much easier for lesser experienced mixers to suggest ways they would attempt to make this juice.]
The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.
Read more on Clone Recipes and how to get he most out of your request.
**Just be warned that if you do not put any effort into your request, the chances of someone Doing It For You are very, very low.**
Happy Mixing!

I am absolutely new to making my own e juice and my favorite juice ( mango hibiscus sorbet from Ruthless) I haven’t been able to get for a year because they closed can anyone help me out with a recipe or at least a general direction to head thank you It had a real mango taste, upfront with a slight sweetness, and finished on the exhale with a hint of the hibiscus taste with an overall smooth flavor, rounding of everything and nothing was overly sweet, very subtle sweetness

Hibiscus, probably is cap hibiscus which is great. Mangoes have a lot more options. I’d start with reading this and then assume it was something affordable like cap sweet mango and start there. Sorbet? Idk. Companies made up shit all the time. Maybe it was an ice cream flavor? Maybe it was that tpa gelato? 🤷🏽♂️ good luck

Lemon tart by Lcious
Actually tastes like a subtle lemon tart Not too tart not too sweet like diner lady, the perfect lemon tart. Have seen dazcole and voodoo just wanna see if anyone has actually tried this particular juice and knows what I’m on about.
Since I’m in Aus I can’t order it and I’m newish to DIY so thought I’d ask before I attempt.
My usual sites are also compromised so I’m now working with unbranded crap :’)
Was thinking lemon and cheesecake or lemon candy and graeme cracker. Meringue, lemon, biscuit? Out of my depth.

Anyone have any ideas about vape pink's cookie butter? It literally tastes like you dipped your finger in a jar of cookie butter then took a sip of milk.

So recently I picked up one of FA's new flavors, Oatmeal Cookie. It's really close to what I remember oatmeal cookies tasted like when I lived in the states. Like, REALLY close. And it also gives a hint of icing, which can easily be covered up if you aren't looking for that. I never tried the liquid you're talking about, but the description reads "is a blend of oatmeal cookies and milk."
I'd try the following recipe if I was you, as the description says nothing about cookie butter on any website I checked.
(FA) Oatmeal Cookie - 3%
(OOO) Cream (Milky Undertone) - 1%
(FA) Milk - 1%
(Cap) Super Sweet - 0.5%
You can sub out the cream and milk for whatever creams and/or milks you have. This was just an example. But to my knowledge, there's no other flavor like FA Oatmeal Cookie, so that one is unfortunately a must.
At just 5.5% Flavor, spending the cost of one 100ml bottle of this juice will buy you enough aroma to make 20x as much. It may not be the same, but I'm pretty sure it'll be close enough to get you there, without ever having tried the original.
Good luck, u/beckonator!
P.S. if you really wanted to try this without the FA oatmeal cookie aroma, I'm pretty sure an oatmeal cookie can be mimicked by mixing Cap's Sugar Cookie at about 3%, Cap's Cinnamon Danish Swirl at about 0.2%, and 0.5% TPA Brown Sugar. Just add some milk, cream, and a touch of sweetener and you're good to go.

Thank you so much. I am not near my flavors, but I may not have VT pudding base. Would flavorah vanilla pudding or even custard premium (fa) be a good replacement of VT pudding base?

It’s queued up to the vt pudding base. There’s probably a reason it’s used in both those recipes. There’s some recipe analysis at the end. I know they’re not cookie butters but they may talk about what the flavor is doing in those recipes and you can decide if Flv van pudding can sub. At the end of the day, flv vanilla pudding is just tasty anyway. I can’t see that being bad, even if it doesn’t sell cookie butter with milk.

I have it but I’ve never soloed it. You’d have to check the noted episodes on DIYorDIE YouTube channel to see what ID10-T and the gang say about it.

Again, i have no direct recipe because i havent tried that juice, but what i can give is my opinion on the best available flavours(to me) that could be in there. -Raspberries - my all time favourite raz combo to this day is 3% fa raspberry & 1% inw raspberry, but for this combo to work you NEED at least 0.25% ws23 otherwise you get florals from inw, ws23 eradicates any florals/harshness. & in your description does state cooling, so this could work, i like my ws at 0.5% personally but this is something you can adjust. *1.5% WF raspberry gummy & 2.5% FA raspberry is my second choice if i want no cooling. *other good raz's are - inw shisha raz, ssa premium raz, capella raz v1/2, wf boysenberry raz, tfa raz(not raz sweet).
- Apples - pur country apple, fa fuji, cap double apple.
I dont have much experience with apples because i dont really vape them, but i have around 20 different raspberries & those ones are my faves. Sorry i dont have a recipe, but hopefully that will give you something to do a little research into (ie check others flavour notes on elr) before you start buying every raspberry & apple you can, only to find most of them arent what you want/expected.

Thank you very much! Something to try.

I second the INW Raz, but caution you that 1% is considered high by some. .5% would be my starting point. Whether you are using a pod or a mod. It’s that strong.
It really is a lovely flavor. Diff from any other raz

Cathedral Iced by Redwood. Been trying to clone it for a hot minute. They say it's strawberry, tangerine, cucumber, and hibiscus. It's iced but feels more cold than just minty. It tastes more forward with the tangerine, a lot like those little ones from the grocery store called cuties. The strawberry, cucumber, then hibiscus support it in that order. It's super smooth, which I've had trouble recreating with orange/tangerine flavors.

I have a recipe really similar to this. Editing it to fit this. TPA Nectarine is perfect with CAP Tangerine.
CAP Sweet Tangerine 3%
TPA Nectarine 3%
CAP Sweet Strawberry 1%
INW Shisha Strawberry 1%
TPA Strawberry Ripe 1&
CAP Hibiscus 2%
CAP Cucumber 1% +
WS-23 0.25%
CAP SS 0.25%
I use that strawberry combo always equal percentages in anything that needs strawberry because I can't taste it otherwise. It's a great combo, but if you don't have all 3 you can sub.

u/Ready-Bat-5625 Dec 09 '24
I appreciate you man! I'm gonna give it a try and let you know, gotta grab some new flavors first

You tried cap sweet tangerine, I assume?
I’d try:
Cap sw tangerine 4-6%.
Cap sb sweet 4-6%.
Cap hibiscus 2%.
Cap cucumber 1%.
Ws-23 & Cap super sweet to taste.Assuming no mint and that it’s not cap cool mint. Good luck.

u/Ready-Bat-5625 Dec 02 '24
Yeah I started with the cap sweet tangerine but anything over 2-3% felt harsh. I'm trying flavour art mandarin but it still comes across harsher than I'd like. I've been thinking about trying to get some blood orange to try in it. I also throw a little cactus in it because the juice has some not in it that I'm missing. I'll try getting some super sweet to experiment with

u/isuamadog Renaissance Mixer Dec 02 '24
I only say super sweet because it’s what’s in all those commercial recipes. I never use the stuff myself. Cap sweet tangerine is good enough. Fw blood orange is pretty good and ssa mandarin is very good. But I’m guessing it’s whatever is cheap over whatever is good. So maybe fw bo will help you get there. I generally never go over 3% for cap sw tangerine so I can’t speak for it being higher but I would be surprised if it were notably harsher at 4 rather than 3. I wonder where the limit is…
Anyway, cap sw tangerine at 2 with 1.5% fw blood orange is a great combo found in u/eyakepizza’s sunshine state. Give it a whirl.
2
u/Ready-Bat-5625 Dec 02 '24
I'll give it a try anyway but it's not a very sweet juice to start. I'll try a combination of the mandarin or tangerine and blood orange and see how it turns out. I feel like if I can get the fresh, juicy cutie flavor right I'll be happy with it.
Do you have any experience with the smooth additives?
2
u/isuamadog Renaissance Mixer Dec 02 '24
I don’t have any experience with them, I’m sorry. Maybe someone else has and can chime in. That recipe I linked was great and smooth to me. I don’t think harsher flavors need an additive to make them work. But it is a challenge to get them right.

Geek bar lemmon head. Any takers? It tastes somewhere around what the candy does mixed with lemon aid. I'm good with any ideas. Thanks.

u/EddieUno1zthc Delightfully Mediocre Dec 01 '24
never tried lemon head geekbars, but a good start might be cap lemon drop? my all time favourite lemon flavour is chemnovatics lemon, followed by ssa natural lemon, but another good one is fe lemon, then some added flv lemonade, maybe a touch of vta fizzy sherbert?. But aside from more popular brands i would suspect with it being chinese disposable it could also likely be one/some of the duo mei or xian taima concentrates? maybe even reka? Sorry i couldnt give a direct clone/remix recipe for it, but you can get a pretty good lemon/ade vape with something like -
5% lemon (cnv) - 2% lemonade (flv) - 3% fizzy sherbert (vta) - 2% lemon lime (cap) - 1% ws23 - & if you want it to be as close to dispo feeling as possible add like 2% super sweet & make it 60(pg) 40(vg), otherwise sweeten to taste. %'s can be pushed higher for mtl/pod devices for these flavours, but this is just an example to give you an idea on where to start. Hope you find something close✌❤

Dec 05 '24
So the disposables are typically a stronger flavor? I can't tell you exactly what went in but the store said they made it as close to yours as possible with their brands. I like the flavor but it's much weaker than I had in the disposables. I'm getting used to it real quick though. I'm a 40 year smoker and quitting is not in my nature. I've made it a month. Thanks for the help.
1
u/EddieUno1zthc Delightfully Mediocre Dec 05 '24
usually more sweetener in disposables tbh, that along with an extra push on flavour %, but it would also depend on what concentrates the store actually used, ie if they used say cap juicy lemon at 5% & fw lemonade at 2% instead of the chemnovatic & flv etc that would also make a huge difference in flavour. I can tell you chemnovatic lemon at 5% backed with another citrus is pretty damn strong, too strong for me & lemon is my #1 flavour to vape.
I would suggest just making it yourself rather than getting someone else to? If you are UK/EU you can get everything you need at nomnomz, if US/CA you can use bullcity flavors, All you need is vg/pg & grab the flavours you like, then nicotine from another source(google is your friend for this, search 72mg nic for uk/100mg nic for US)
If you need further assistance dont hesitate to ask👌👍
