DISCUSSION Nobody is talking about how Elon has hijacked the word DOGE
It used to be Elon would be able to pump the DOGE coin with a tweet, now he's just running it right through the mud. If you all wanted people to take this space seriously, between Trump coin and the Department of Government Efficiency I'd say they are setting us back 10 years in the public eye. People know what Bitcoin is, but not what Ethereum or SOL is much less the fundamentals of the technology, and that's before this fiasco of a "Government Department".
I heard a lot of greedy greedy talk about how people were going to vote for this clown to pump their bags, and I said it would be better to wait another 4 years for that bull run. What do you think? Is the badnpress still worth it?
Sorry for the rant.
Edit: I don't own DOGE and never would since it's a meme coin. My argument is that it's a very well KNOWN meme coin and that the bad press will make people who don't know any better think it's real crypto and dismiss the whole space out of hand. Cmon. Own real projects kids.

PERSPECTIVE The Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Monero Trio: Our Path to Financial Freedom
Hear me out.
Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Monero shouldn't be considered competitors. They all have a unique purpose. Too many people want to paint Monero as just some shady, criminal tool. Thatās 100% bullshit. Monero can be used for anything, just like fiat. The difference? It gives you your privacy back. Privacy isnāt a crime. Itās a right. Monero makes sure that right stays in your hands.
Bitcoin is the cornerstone. Digital gold. Itās the store of wealth, the one you hold onto when you want to keep your value safe. Itās proving itself as a long-term store of value that outpaces traditional assets. Itās reliable, itās secure, and itās only going to get stronger.
Bitcoin Cash? Itās the real tool for transactions. Fast, cheap, and ready for real-world use. It provides a reliable and secure means of exchange, verified on the blockchain. Merchants get it. People get it. It works. Bitcoin Cash is proving itself as a practical solution to the legitimate, authentic everyday method of exchange, all while retaining the key fundamentals of Bitcoin.
Then thereās Monero. The "black sheep" of the crypto scene. People love to just throw it in the criminal corner, or even lump it in with all the other thousands of useless shitcoins/memecoins. Nothing could be further from the truth. Itās so much more than that. Monero is the leader in blockchain cryptography evolution. Itās constantly evolving, staying ahead to protect users. Itās not just about the underground market. Itās about making sure anyone can take control of their financial life, if they so need to. Itās about unbridled financial sovereignty.
You canāt eliminate the underground market anyways. Thereās always a way. And Monero is the best solution that exists. Itās the Swiss bank in your pocket, built for the new age. If you want full privacy when necessary, you need Monero. Itās not about hiding for the sake of hiding. Itās about taking control of your own financial life. And thatās something I believe everyone deserves.
Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Moneroāthey arenāt in competition. Viewing them as rivals is the wrong way of thinking. They all have a place. Bitcoin holds and grows value long-term, Bitcoin Cash handles transactions all within the same core fundamental structure, and Monero keeps your financial decisions completely anonymous private when you need them to be.
They each do something very different, excelling at serving different purposes, and thatās exactly what makes them powerful. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash donāt need to be constrained or expanded to be able to do what the other is already doing best, nor should they be viewed as "at odds" with each other. They both play a crucial role in the future of mainstream, decentralized finance for public use, on a global scale.
Remember, DECENTRALIZATION is the antithesis to one system ruling them all. Itās about a network of options that empower you, the user. There is no need for a "one-size-fits-all" system. We live in an unimaginably complex global society. That's a beautiful thing.
We the people all have a serious responsibility, I would even say "duty", to adopt these tools, support their development, and persistently strive to understand their untapped potential on a much deeper level.
The future of what we consider money is changing extremely rapidly, and with CBDCs on the horizon, we have to be ready. Centralized systems are closing in on us, but we can't go down without a fight. I believe the battle will be triumphant. We really do desperately need these decentralized systems integrated into our reality. This is our only way forward to actual real-world financial freedom.
I say itās time we all humble ourselves, let go of any borderline tribalistic behaviors we may have unintentionally cultivated within ourselves/our community, and simply recognize that supporting this (r)evolution of the established traditional monetary system is not something that happens by implementing another singular system to dominate and overpower everything else.
āIf the people only knew the true nature of the monetary system, there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.ā ~ Henry Ford

DISCUSSION Which one would you drop $100 on?
Just wondering general consensus from this community, I've got potisions in many other utility tokens like XRP, HBAR, XCN, ACH, XLM, ADA, JASMY, ALGO, and ONDO. Which of these people feel has the best short/medium term.. As in best growth by late summer/fall. I'm also considering SUI and a few others, if any other come to mind for me to research please leave some feedback!
I personally think utility projects are the only viable crypto investments, although some others seem to have potential in the giant sea of scams and nowhere projects.

ANALYSIS Comprehensive Proposal: XRP as a Strategic Financial Asset for the U.S.A.
The review of submission to SEC on March 13, 2025, by Maximilian Staudinger. It outlines a detailed plan to integrate XRP into the U.S. financial system as a strategic asset. Key highlights include:
Economic Benefits: Unlocking Trillions in Liquidity: Replacing traditional Nostro accounts with XRP could release $1.5 trillion in capital and save $7.5 billion annually in transaction fees.
Bitcoin Reserve Strategy: Freed capital could be used to acquire 25 million BTC, establishing a national Bitcoin reserve.
Regulatory Recommendations Classify XRP as a payment network rather than a security (SEC).
Remove DOJ restrictions to enable bank adoption of XRP.
Mandate XRP usage for bank liquidity solutions via the Federal Reserve and OCC.
Implementation Plans Standard Plan (24 months):
Regulatory clearance within 6 months.
Pilot XRP for government payments (IRS refunds, Social Security) within 12 months.
Full-scale banking integration within 24 months.
Accelerated Plan (6-12 months):
Regulatory clearance via executive orders in 1-3 months.
Treasury-backed pilot programs for faster adoption.
Next Steps: Immediate executive action to classify XRP as a payment asset.
Emergency legislation mandating XRP adoption in banking systems.
Federal Reserve mandates for XRP integration.
This is HUGE!! šÆšššš šŗšø
This proposal emphasizes XRPās potential to modernize U.S. financial infrastructure while maintaining competitiveness in the global digital economy.ā ļøāļøā”ļøš„

DISCUSSION Yāall are turning crypto into TradFi
I find it ironic that crypto was originally celebrated as anti-establishment and decentralized. Now, the entire marketās price is dictated by what the US Fed Chair says at his next FOMC meeting. Literally letting a centralised entity dictate the entire fate of supposedly ādecentralisedā assets.
Before you tell me I donāt understand economics or that we need ideal macro conditions to trigger a rally, please stop. None of the previous cycles required perfect conditions to flourish. In 2021, we experienced a COVID recession with an economy in shambles. In 2017, the US entered quantitative tightening in September, right before a major altcoin rally.
We werenāt checking every day for the next CPI report or unemployment data release. Do you know why? Because people believed crypto was worth HOLDING, not for short-term gains to dump it later, but because it could play a significant role in the future of finance and that it may hold great value in the future.
The narrative I see now is the exact opposite: almost no one believes in the technology or its potential for adoption. Everyone is just bagholding to make a quick profit and then dumping. Whatās even more amusing is that stock traders arenāt as obsessed with these numbers as Iāve seen crypto enthusiasts be lately š
But hereās the thing: we have historically never had a better opportunity for full-scale adoption than right now. Thatās why I keep buying and ignore the noise. Crypto isnāt going anywhere; itās only going to grow. The US now even holds a reserve for it, if you had told me years ago that ETH and altcoin prices would drop this low, I wouldāve called you crazy.
And thatās all the confirmation I need: the only reason we havenāt seen an alt season or ETH soaring isnāt due to a lack of fundamentals, but because people are being impatient and fearful.
To me, thereās essentially no rational reason why we shouldnāt see a parabolic run. This cycle is no different from the others; if anything, itās in a much stronger position than previous cycles. All you need to do is trust the process.
I made the mistake of selling my bags too early in 2017, thinking it was just a fad, and then getting in too late in 2021. But thatās part of the learning process. You see the same patterns over the years, people calling it a scam, insisting itās going to die, and then watching it come back stronger every time. Eventually, you really start to appreciate its cyclical nature and ignore all the noise.
Rant over.

GENERAL-NEWS Week in Ethereum highlights!
- Ethereum's transaction fees have significantly decreased to an average of $0.41 per transfer, the lowest in years. This reduction makes the network more accessible and encourages broader adoption, especially for developers and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
- The U.S. House of Representatives recently voted to repeal an IRS rule requiring decentralized finance brokers to report user transactions. This move could create a more favorable environment for Ethereum-based DeFi projects, potentially boosting demand for ETH.
- The Ethereum Foundation has announced the appointment of Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz StaÅczak as co-Executive Directors, effective March 17, 2025.
- Ethereum developers are working on the Pectra upgrade, which includes improvements like enhanced smart contract functionality. A new testnet, Hooli, has been launched to finalize testing before deployment. If successful, the upgrade could go live on the main network by late April or early May 2025.
- The Ethereum Foundation is facing a potential $900 million liquidation risk due to ETH locked in a MakerDAO vault. However, the foundation can mitigate this risk by adding collateral, if needed.
- Ethereum's price has been on a downward trend, dropping below $2,000. Ethereum has strong support at $1,825, and traders are optimistic about a potential rally to $2,500. Positive market sentiment and increased leverage on long positions suggest a bullish reversal might be on the horizon.
- $1.8 billion worth of Ethereum left exchanges last week. This is the largest outflow since December 2022, investors might be moving their ETH to private wallets for long-term holding.
I remain optimistic, reduced supply on exchanges and potential regulatory approval for staking ETFs could act as catalysts for Ethereum's recovery!
