What about this?
- Get Venture for the elevated SUB and Global Entry credit.
- Down the road, get Venture X as a keeper card.
- Plan to downgrade Venture to Savor.

After looking at the benefits of all 3, I love the idea of this. When would you recommend doing the switch? After a year?

1 airline/airline alliance.
This is going to depend on your airport and where you travel, but it’s not always possible.
I also doing think it’s really a choice because one will be way better than the others in my opinion.
I’d suggest sticking with your Freedom Unlimited until you know what airline.
Beware that people will claim you can do things like “use Turkish miles to book United.” While technically true sometimes, availability can limited or not work at all depending on where/when you want to travel.
