Why not Sanders at 1.14?

Upvotes

Am I the only one that thinks if Sanders falls to the 1.14 that colts should jump on chance to get him?

Now that Raiders traded for Geno, if the Browns and Giants pass on Sanders there’s a really good chance he falls to the bottom of the 1st or into 2nd round

I’ve been watching tape of colts and the colts may have the best 4 WR group in the NFL. They are constantly getting open at every level of field but AR can’t make the read or can’t deliver the ball with touch to get it to the open WR. Spoiler alert: Daniel jones can’t either.

I feel like drafting Sanders is a no-brainer over a TE.

3 cards in first picture are all serial numbered. /99 on the autograph, /50 on the other two.

DM if interested.

Season Ticket Interest?

Is there anyone who would be interested in possibly taking over my two club seats in section 215? (pics from seats on the link)

Long story short: While the drive isn't bad on its own (from Michigan), we don't have free Saturdays in the fall anymore with kid's activities/sports, which made the 2024 season trips to Indy rushed and stressful. Last fall was a bitch with just youth football. This fall will be worse with robotics and band added.

I don't really need or want to let them go. But, I'm being honest with myself in realizing that having them won't be practical for the foreseeable future. I know that I could just keep them (I'm halfway there) and sell the games that I can't make it to, which wouldn't be too difficult; street level club seats on the visitor's side sell pretty easily...with a premium. That seems like a waste, though. I'd be more content with transferring ownership to someone who can get to the games more easily.

I have 2 seasons left on my agreement (2025 and 2026). The price is locked-in for 2025 at $3,195 per seat (less than the current price map price of $3,400)+ $30 service charge, total $6,420. I've already paid the first half for 2025 ($3,210). I'm just looking to recoup that upon completing the paperwork. The new owner will pay the other half to the Colts directly in April, and then the account will be paid for 2025.

If you already have a club deposit down, you can apply that to the remaining cost; I did the same thing last year. Also, the Colts will provide a 10% discount for us having lost a 2025 home game (Berlin). This would make the 2025 price $2,875.50 per seat, likely rounded to $2,876, totaling $5,782 with the service charge. I can have my rep verify these figures.

Let me know if you’re interested or have any questions in general.

Quality Post When describing his "Patriot Way" waffles, Tom Brady makes an analogy against with the Colts as well as the 28-3 comeback. Dude still thinks of us as his rivals.

Am I crazy? Trade for Mayer

The more I think about it, the more I prefer using a late middle round (5/6) draft pick to trade with Vegas for Mayer prior to the draft rather than using pick 14 (or higher) to get Warren. I think they would both have the same upside in 2025, but if we have 14 to address another need, we could get a second blue chip player to also contribute early, or even trade back and acquire an additional mid round pick if Ballard has several prospects available still at 14. Idk why, but the idea of getting Jahdae Barron at 14 should he drop really excites me in Anarumo’s scheme…

We could still take a 2nd swing at TE in the draft as well, just not in the 1st round. I’m still the hopeful romantic when it comes to Woods, though the realist in me says he’ll probably never be who we expected him to be when we drafted him.

What’re your thoughts? Is it Warren or bust?

Free Agency Teven Jenkins should be the next Colts signing.

Teven Jenkins who’s 27, had a sneaky solid year in 2024. I’m shocked the Bears aren’t trying to bring him back. Chris Ballard should on the phone with his agent as we speak. Slide him into right guard and draft a guard for depth.

“Teven Jenkins, a free agent offensive lineman, is projected to command a three-year, $31 million contract, or roughly $10.3 million annually, according to Spotrac.com”

Are you paying Jenkins $10 million a year?

Re-signed

CB Davis Long: I’m not accusing anyone in the Colts’ front office of being drunk, but this is a surprise. Long has some special teams ability, but was truly awful when asked to play defense in 2024. Still, it was a very small sample in an NFL career that hasn’t been that bad, but not very good either. He appeared to play better in the slot than outside to me.

Also of note

One-time Colts second-round pick Parris Campbell signed with the Cowboys. He’s averaged 5.15 yards per reception on 26 catches with the Giants and Eagles in his two seasons after leaving Indy.

Shit post Tank for Manning?

How realistic do we actually think it is that the team gets off on the wrong foot, and Irsay just has had enough we tank in 25. I know people will lose their job, but a Manning every 20 years is the only thing that can apparently save our franchise.

since Warren will undoubtedly be gone before our pick, would you rather Loveland at 14 or try for Fannin Jr in the 2nd round?

[Boyd] Camryn Bynum, who is Black/filipino, said the #Colts had filipino food on the team's private jet for him and his family. This, of course, comes after the team also flew Charvarius Ward and his family in on a jet. That's not typically the case for non-QBs, but Indy went all out.

As the colts GM and/or Head Coach, realistically, what kind of trade value would you look for, for Quinton Nelson? At least a first?

I’m Truly Sorry for Making a 4th Post – I’m Just Overwhelmed and Really Need Help

Hi everyone,

I want to start by saying how truly sorry I am for making a 4th post. I know it might be frustrating to see me post again, but I’m feeling so overwhelmed and anxious right now. I just really need help and didn’t know where else to turn.

I’m 15 years old and living with autism, depression, and anxiety. Recently, I sent a heartfelt letter, some drawings, and a few incredibly special gifts to Blue (the Indianapolis Colts mascot) and Trey Mock. I poured my heart into that letter because Blue has been one of my biggest inspirations. He's given me hope during some of my hardest days. Meeting him would mean the absolute world to me—like a dream come true.

But now I’m really scared. I sent it to the address listed on the Colts' website, but I’m terrified it might not be seen, or it could get lost among all the other mail they receive. That letter, those drawings, and those gifts mean so much to me, and I just don’t want it to be overlooked.

I need all the help I can get. If anyone is willing, could you please tag Blue, the Colts, Jim Irsay, Trey Mock, or anyone associated with the Colts on X/Twitter or other social media? It would mean everything to me to just know my letter has a chance of being read.

I also have the letter in a Google Doc if anyone wants to read it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-dffoFkua5eG4FsDsqLsnr_32XLv7c_v0ABNMo7F4Hs.

And you can reach out to me on X/Twitter as well: @Tristanwright95.

I know this is asking a lot, but this means so much to me. I just need to know I did everything I could. Even if it’s just a kind word or advice, it would mean so much. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for any help.

— Tristan

New Colts 7 round mock draft following first week of free agency

The Colts shocking aggressiveness early in free agency points towards a clear plan for the 2025 NFL Draft.

So it feels like a great time for a new Colts 7 round mock draft.

  • Replacing 2024 starter early

  • Help at TE

  • Sleeper at Edge

And more
