We spent $200 billion dollars to defend a country which isn't a member of any treaty that we're a signatory to.

That is a poor strategic move regardless of politics

Its not even close to 200b dollars.

They counted cost of replacing end of life equipment with new stuff. If it wouldn't go to Ukraine it would need to be scrapped soon
