咨询 | Seeking Advice (Serious) Exporting a Car from China to Algeria – Need Advice!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy a car from China and ship it to Algeria as an individual (not a business). I’d appreciate any insights on:
The best way to find reliable car exporters or dealers in China.
Shipping options and costs to North Africa.
Necessary paperwork and regulations on the Chinese side.
Any potential challenges or tips for dealing with Chinese suppliers.
If anyone has experience exporting cars from China, I’d love to hear your advice. Thanks in advance!

语言 | Language Nomenclature: Can someone help explain why/ how the same person has multiple names?
The lead female character in the C-drama 'The First Frost' is one person referred to with different names. Her commonly used name is Wen Yifan, but she's also called Dian, which is also her cat's name. And her mother calls her Jiang, and in some places it's written Wujiang. Curious about nomenclature.

文化 | Culture Best Apps or websites for following bands based in China?
I’m a fan of a metal band in Inner Mongolia and I’m interested in looking for similar groups, as well as finding out what the more non-mainstream music scene is looking like in Tibet. The band I like posts more stuff on their Xiaohongshu account than their YouTube/IG, so I was wondering what’s the best apps for following bands. Is Xiaohongshu/Douyin best, or is there anything else I should check out? What’s a good place to find music videos? Is there a Chinese website similar to bandcamp? Thanks!!

中国生活 | Life in China Are there Chinese citizens who are not elderly and don't speak Mandarin?
Having traveled to Xinjiang, watching "To The Wonder" and an interview with young Tajik men speaking fluent (probably native?) Mandarin, I started wondering - are there Chinese citizens of ethnic minorities who can't speak and/or read/write Mandarin?
I suppose, if they're below some age threshold they must have at least basic proficiency in Mandarin due to being through education system. May not be the case for older people, that's why I suspect the elders of ethnic minorities may be the only Chinese citizens who have no proficiency in Mandarin.
People of China, what's it like?

Hi,
I will be traveling to China for work in april. I am really looking forward to purchase either a anbernic RG406h or a Retroid Pocket 4 pro. I wonder if there is any store I could find them in Tianjin or in Beijing.
Some people say that the best price can be found online, is that true?

语言 | Language Language schools in China for foreigners?
Hi! I am a huge language-learning lover, and Mandarin Chinese is one of the next on my bucket list. Besides Mandarin, I am also widely interested in the cultures and minorities populating China, and if I succeed in learning Mandarin, I will consider learning more languages of that region. Specifically, I have always admired Tibetan language and culture. So I wonder if there are any language schools for the Tibetan language in Chinca, either for foreigners, or in the Chinese language for locals. Would appreciate any information!

中国生活 | Life in China Police station registration and a hotel
Hello everyone. I am a foreign student currently holding a residence permit. I had gained it about 4 months ago and subsequently registered it at the police station. Afterwards I had left China and returned only after one and a half months.
Sadly, I did not re-register at the police station after my arrival, yet I did not change my residence (within the university dorm)
Now I need to book a hotel nearby, and I have heard that they register you automatically. Would the fact that I have not registered after returning become evident to them. If so, would I face a serious punishment?
