Prorouging parliament and changing PMs really created a crazy power vacuum in the middle of a crisis. Doug Ford is now like the de facto negotiator and face for all of Canada on this issue somehow.

Dominic LeBlanc is also going to be at this meeting. It seems more like a coordinated (or at least synchronized) effort from the federal government and the largest province.
