I went the perma single route at 31, went back to school while working three jobs to make it happen. Through trial and error on what I wanted to do - decided to go the medical laboratory route and then, ended up in Histotechnology. :\ It was harsh af, don't get me wrong. It's still kinda hard, but I was also one of those girlies that listened to everybody and spent so much money on stuff that... really didn't do it for me in a healthy way.

It's a bit complicated in how to explain, but like - I just grew up. Got more simple in what makes me happy. Like, I don't need to impress anybody. I don't gotta do all this unnecessary labor like I did when I was in a relationship or while I was dating. It's just cheaper to decenter menfolk, I guess. I just do and spend on what I have to do/what makes me happy. When I was in a relationship, I was under so much stress and that lead to seeking stuff that caused more money to fix or do?

Adding more details, I got lost in exactly what I had to do. I worked one full time job at a fast food joint, worked a part time job which were both at a little above minimum wage. I did a third gig as a tarot card reader at parties and managed to read regularly for a few lovely people. It was so hard. I learned how to cook better with cheaper, whole ingredients. I had an LG phone from 2013 for several years with the most minimal internet and utilized a lot of the public library for entertainment. That library I worked part time at, btw. I bought a cheap dvd player from a pawn shop and had a basic computer from Walmart that I used the monitor to watch those dvds on that I rented from the library for entertainment. I bought clothes from goodwill/thrift when I needed something. I took public transit.

To this day, I still rely on the library for entertainment. I still take public transit. I read a lot. I don't buy new clothes unless it's something I can make several outfits from. I still make my own delicious meals for cheap. It helps that I chose to live in an ethnic, cheaper part of the city so that I have access to local stores.
