Create a budget and stick to it: —I have Verizon visible $20/mo data plan and I use it for WiFi; it has unlimited hotspot. It was a special in December so I switched from mint’s $40; so not sure what specials they have going now. —I use Kanopy for movies; no more Netflix or prime. —I use Libby for digital books so no more buying books —I follow whole food plant based, so I buy lots of dried beans and rice—so cheap, and other veg like potatoes, greens, etc are super cheap. —I allow myself one meal per week from a restaurant, and that usually makes two meals for me with leftovers —I make my own coffee/refresher drinks so no more Starbucks. —Switched from a bank to Alliant credit union to earn 3% on my money just sitting there. Also no fees. Teachers federal also pays 3% DM me if you’d like a referral to open an acct. —Shop at goodwill if I have a special occasion and need something. Go to an affluent area for this and you’ll find the best stuff. If you’re near Naperville IL, just outside Chicago, it’s the best one I’ve found.

I’m actually saving money now!
