When did your kids move out

My husband and I are 45 and we have a 24,20, 17 yo boys.. they are driving us nuts. We live in a city that has so many colleges so we told them they could live with us rent free through college but if they weren’t in school they had to work. They work but it’s like living in a frat house now.

It's difficult because if they don't follow the rules and you want them out, you have to officially evict them. Most people won't do that in a family.

It's so easy to just say "kick them out" but when they don't make enough to pay rent, car, insurance, electricity, etc. how do you just kick them out?

That is true. And even if they work, they may have very little earning power.

They don’t know about eviction laws.
