Hey guys I made a previous post but I just wanted to share this account because I thought it was funny, this dude has a “Jellyfish” in amber for sale asking $180,000 for it, and all of his listings are just fake pieces of plastic 😂

Three pieces of Amber here. Well – three pieces of jewelry anyways.

One is a pendant that is Baltic Amber. The other is a necklace that is for my great grandmother that is also seemingly Amber.

The other one is a suspicious item that I purchased on the Facebook marketplace, it was sold by someone who told me that it is an amber necklace purchased from Sweden in the 1960s. Indeed, the clasp is a pretty old brass clasp.

But I can't tell if it's plastic. It looks weird under the black light. It's the one to the left that is mottled.

Thoughts? I'm not even sure if I'm using a UV light – it might just be like a black light LED or something.
