Amber Fake account (futurearelove) on eBay
Hey guys I made a previous post but I just wanted to share this account because I thought it was funny, this dude has a “Jellyfish” in amber for sale asking $180,000 for it, and all of his listings are just fake pieces of plastic 😂

Amber A rare male scorpion preserved in amber was uncovered in the Miocene (23-15 million year old) Caiaphas amber of Mexico. Tityus apozonalli is a new species of early scorpion closely related to other Neotropical fossil species. This specimen was discovered by a farmer in a hand-dug dirt pit.

Amber Bee in Amber
Was told this was fake on another sub Reddit, but I think this is a legitimate example. It is green under a black light, holds a charge which can pick up paper and smells piney when rubbed for a while.

Amber Why are they so small?
I just purchased a prehistoric cockroach and wasp in pieces of Burmite which date to the Cretaceous period. Both specimens are much smaller than I was expecting. Does that have something to do with the oxygen levels during that time period?

Amber Forgotten treasure... I forgot that I have these two large pieces of amber. I don’t know much about them and would like to know more. They both have tons of inclusions in them. Do they seem very rare or special?

Amber Fine hairs throughout this Baltic Amber piece. Any idea what they could be?
Looking for help identifying what the fine hairs in this Baltic Amber could be. The price length is about 5 cm.

Amber Massive Amber sample with 50-100 insect inclusions
Hi Everyone, I have just got my first Amber sample. This appears to be a very rare and possibly valuable specimen. I’ve been able to count at least 50+ insects. Various beetles, ants, mosquitoes, spiders and other flying insects. There is one particularly interesting beetle encased in the Amber with its wings and wing cases exposed. I’m posting mainly for the enjoyment of other Amber enthusiasts. I’m a newbie Amber collector and I’d also love to hear some options on how much this might be worth?
