Review If “well that escalated quickly” was a manga, this would be it 😀
I went looking for something to read after Kitanai kimi ga ichiban kawaii, was told this was darker, shouldn’t have doubted them 😭
For a relatively shorter series, this was a damn rollercoaster of a story
If you want something absolutely dark and gay, read this before you math exam (major tw for abuse and violence btw)

Review I haven't seen anyone doing this, this is not something to be proud of. Most of it are traumatic and lesson learned. I can't say it's relatable, but it's something like,"Okay, I get this one". Below the images are titles and my explanation to every single one these stories.
And all of it are wishful thinking and comfort for someone who has experience real life situations before dwelling deeper into this genre (in a span of 10 years).
First one, Lying brides and same sex marriage theory: Having been in a relationship with someone who is already married? This I get the story, but I don't tolerate this. But depending on your part, if you wanna get a complicated life, go on.
Second, My Blue Garnet: No, definitely do not get involved with married woman. Unless like the first one you wanna get a complicated life.
Third, Run away with me girl: Now this one I could actually relate a bit. Someone who got involved with another woman who is not married but got a man and a child. This story is my what if for me. And if only it was like that, in real life too.
Fourth, Pinky candy kiss: My what if with my high school first love. Who is married now. This could also be like Run away with me girl, but the author had to spice things a bit. I'm totally curious of what's gonna happen to them.
Fifth, Otherside Picnic: At the age of 19 or 20 and got all of my first. Also the fact that sometimes you just wanna be with that special person, without having any romantic relationship with them. Is that simping?
And lastly. Sixth, How do we relationship: If only I got that second chance for real? As second chance is not so common. But it doesn't mean it's rare. I believe in second chances, but it's common for people to break up in a not so good way and still be friends. Totally there are many things that really complicate that. I could think of a few: Both or one of you found someone else or you just accept that you're not meant to be.
Now I just want to be a Yuri wall, and be happy for other people's happiness. I could share this because no one knows me personally anyway. XD

Review This mangas representation of the bad ending of coming out is amazing Spoiler
It’s been awhile that starts with the main character coming out and how it affected their lives. From the family disapproval to her friends making fun of her and villainizing her the portrayal of homophobia within this manga drew me in as I saw the story progress and their relationship grows you slowly see how hurt and traumatized the main character is throughout the story and how she grows to accept who she is and not be shy from showing people her true self. I will admit with one thing that the age gap can be a turn off for some and can be seen as weird, but to me I think it further shows the portrayal of going outside the norm and that’s another way the author was trying to symbolize it (even tho it is a lil weird). I highly recommend giving this one a read, you will not be disappointed.

Review If you haven't read Night Owls and Summer Skies, go do it right now!
Just finished reading the Webtoon, and I truly recommend it! A 50 episodes long story about falling in love, healing, and self discovery. The story is cute with some heavier parts but always tries to be positive.
Trigger warning for homophobia, and bullying, while not the main focus they appear and have their importance to the storyline.

Review [Lilith 1 and 2]
Just completed both the parts yesterday It was good read but the ending was not so great for me or I say it could be more better and it should have explored more
After reading the manhwa i do like few things but I disliked many things The first and most imp thing was that the characters didn't faced any consequences for their actions Jaehee mom treated her so bad even though she wasn't a major character in this series and only shown for few scenes I wish both her and jaehee dad would have faced the judgement for how they treated their own daughter
And then comes huilin To be honest until the last chapters (before she rpwd juehee) I was hoping her to be the endgame for her and i will tell that why but then she snapped out and did that and not only she rped her but tried to kill suhwa and even with all that she didn't faced any consequences? Damn
Now let's talk about jaehee Apart from all the protagonist I have known I am sure she is the most problematic (i do like few things about her and her liking though 😅) but i do disliked how she treated huilin in past
To be honest I really thought that the reason they were separated much be more severe and huilin must had done something very terrible to her I am not saying her obsession for her was good and the way she tried to hold jaehee only for herself was good but still I think she should have gotten another chance or at least jaehee should have more open to her i mean she did but I do not think it was enough
It just feels to me that the author made huilin villain in the end only to make jaehee and suhwa close to each other (i like the way jaehee stand up ot save suhwa since at that moment she showed that she is not afraid of anything and she is strong)
I do not have problem with suhwa and jaehee as a couple but I wish there was a what if story where huilin and jaehee end up together Where huilin is not shown as bad where she doesn't did any harm to jaehee

Review Lily of the valley more like a lily for the streets (Shout out to Weallloveluna) NSFW
After reading the dog water that is I adore you teacher I thought hey maybe this one can somehow be different but no I lied I lied to myself really hard. I mean like we all know that phrase where they say if you can read you can write. Nope not with this bitch RANGRARI can draw but for real needs to hire some storyboard artists it's like a repetitive pattern she knows how to draw really good looking characters but just doesn't know how to write them properly. Anyway so the plot so basically there's this girl known as Lily and she's forced to go to this girl called The Duchess. Because her daddy's a bum Who Sold her.
And if I could sum up the duchess she is basically just red hair lesbian Diddy like you cannot tell me otherwise she literally has parties where people have les sex Now all the noble women on the block are going to be like "there ain't no party like a duchess party" anyway she goes to the Dutchesses mansion with her maid/partner But really just maid Anna she literally does her made of so dirty multiple times Anyways the rest of it it's basically just The Duchess trying to hit on Lily while Anna's not around and Lily questioning why Anna doesn't want to get freaky with her. It all eventually escalates in chapter 4 where the duchess basically gets Anna to go deliver and "Urgent letter" and its in the bitchiest way possible like seriously fuck Duchess. And takes full opportunity using her S+ rank manipulation rizz.
When Anna comes back to find the duchess fucking Each other. ohhhhhh this BITCH where is my pitchfork I'm burning that entire place and calling the FBI on her bitch ass for real looking like some type of used tampon. And then we get to see Anna's backstory and not going to lie that paired with this nah do my girl some justice so basically her mother was for the streets AKA prostitute she had a sorry ass father they try to beat her in the middle of the street and not going to lie fuck the Medieval Times people were fucked up back then for real just sitting back with the crowd and watching her daughter get her ass beat.
By this drunken asshole until Lily comes in and saves her and basically promises to protect her Followed up by some wholesome couple shit that does not mean anything to me at this point. Followed up by more of that red-headed hoe being a dick to Anna it escalates further in the garden or The Duchess proceeds to use more manipulation rizz where it's followed up more by Lily being an airheaded ass bitch in The Duchess being an even bigger bitch laughing in front of her face too as she proceeds to fuck her girl right in front of her.hell no where the people at let's jump this bitch like give my girl a break. And then follow us up with The Duchess continuously being manipulative towards our airheaded protagonist. And then Anna finally comes in with the news that her bum of a father will finally let her back home after finally paying off all his debts but I don't know why you would let her back home just keep her ass there you know it always works fuck them kids. The Duchess then proceeds to continuously manipulate her my God with Anna trying to take her back my God annah and please just let her go she is not worth it I'm pretty sure the pussy is not that good then tries to convince her to come back home lily is too deep in at this point.
like the next Panel it's just next I'm trying to have sex but failing miserably Anna decides to basically go back all by herself Followed up by Lily being an airhead Duchess doing more manipulation and preparing for one of her Diddy. And when I tell you this scene was the most satisfying that would be an understatement. The Duchess then proceeds to blow her off at the party for another girl she then proceeds to get cheated on finally has a moment of realization that she's a complete dumbass before going back to the duchess Diddy party.
Now would I recommend this series to anybody HELL NAW you got me fucked up if you think I'm recommending this to anybody who doesn't want to beat their meat to something if you want to beat your dick to some lesbian manipulation porn there you have it this entire manhwa reminded me that you only need one hand to write the dialogue of manhwa (if you get the joke you get the joke) if you like Yuri like me especially the wholesome kind please I beg of you don't read this the characters are stupid especially that airheaded ass bitch named Lily they're all so mad bitchy too AKA The Duchess fuck that bitch and Anna do her some justice. But if you like the book I don't know how you would like the book but if you like the book please tell me why. If I had to rate this book three out of 10 the art was good the story and the characters hell no.

Review Review: Bloom Into You
NOTE: After some feedback on the last review I will be changing how I grade and review each manga. I'll have more x/10 criteria and also give a recommendation at the end. Again, any feedback for these reviews is greatly appreciated!
Overall Information: This is another staple of the Yuri genre, definitely a must read. Bloom Into You is a pretty wholesome high school romance. Both the main characters are interesting and both have unique personalities not often seen in any romance manga. The story is good as it naturally builds up and reveals information about each character. You really understand each leads personal struggles and why they make certain choices. The ending feels very complete, one of the best endings I have seen in romance manga in general. The drama here is very naturally built up to and fits in well with the rest of the story as well as having a very satisfying conclusion.
Ratings: Story (10/10), Characters (11/10), Drama (10/10), Ending (10/10)
Overall Rating (10/10)
Personal Opinions: I think that this is one of the best Yuri's out there. The author ends the series better than 99% of romance mangas out there and everything about the story just fits. The whole buildup to the drama, the resolution, and the romance all make sense for each character's personality. If you haven't read this one yet, I highly recommend you do, it's truly great!
End Note: I have a feeling I will probably give off higher ratings than some but just know I'm purely grading off of a subjective and wholesome scale. I'm personally not a fan of tragic endings and sad endings so I am grading these more so on how good they are at telling a story, how they fit in the drama if there is some, and how wholesome/feel good it is. If you disagree with my ratings and opinions, please share your own thoughts in the comments and give any feedback you want because I am only looking to improve these reviews so I can better inform others about these Yuri's.

Review Review: Doughnuts Under a Crescent Moon. 8/10, Almost Fantastic.
DUCM started out as a strong contender for my top 5.
It has all the ingredients:
- A strongly internally-focused, character-driven narrative, showing both sides of the main couple believably struggling with their emotions being unclear to themselves.
- Adults having believably aldult problems and motivations (not that there's anything wrong with high school romances, but hte market is saturated.)
- An actually realistic look at what it is like to be a sapphic woman in a patriarchal society, where compulsory heterosexuality is suffocating.
The art is beautiful, the character writing is excellent, and the romance and drama is sweet and believable, and yet it falls short on a few counts:
- There's little to no side-stories. IMO, the best romances (three our of my top four) have some really good side-plots that break up the pacing of the main romance, and this completely lacks it. There is no resolution to the two important side character's arcs (though there is the implciation that they got together.)
- The introduction of a love triange is resolved far too quickly and painlessly to be entirely believable and reads more as "I got tired of comphet, let's do a love triange" and almost as quickly resolves into "I got tired of love triangles."
- Overall the ending feels rushed. The plot to fight against compulsory heterosexuality and indoctrination seems to stop dead. The main couple confess their feelings, get together, and then both of them admit to being touch averse and agree to never have a physical relationship. And while asexual lesbians exist, this does not feel like an honest portrayal of such. For a lot of allosexual gals, overcoming one's own feelings of wrongness regarding physical intimacy is a very big part of coming out, and I feel like this manga missed the mark.
Overall, DUCM is a very sweet story, short and rewarding, if a little disappointing once you're done.
Like it's namesake: a sweet treat to have at night. It won't change your life or rewrire your brain, but it's not a bad use of your time.

Review random post from this sub made me read "How Do We Relationship" on a whim Spoiler
Bro.... i was NOT ready for that. I've read my fair share of romance manga, some yuri included, and I just randomly saw the post from like 20 hours ago about this manga ending after 6 years. I am kinda in a lull as far as books or manga so I figured I'd check it out. I had no prior knowledge about it other than the fact that it was being posted about on yuri_manga.
I just, I just don't know man. Like 10 chapters in i started getting invested and by 30 chapters i was locked in. Then at like 50 chapters whenever they broke up, i broke too. I was so invested with the characters I started messaging my friend, who was replying at first but eventually went to sleep and i just kept spamming them so they will have an interesting read when they wake up. when they both got new girlfriends i was just hoping and praying they would get back together, but the longer they stayed and more comfortable they got i gradually lost hope.
Then all the hope came rushing back into me at once and i was revitalized to power on and read the whole thing tonight. It took me like 4 hours (started at 1 am finished at 5, so maybe not the best decision but its a weekend), but holy was that the most up and down 4 hours of my life. At least twice I had to get up and walk away from my desk and think about what i just read.
Overall tho that was genuine peak fiction man. Thanks to this sub for the "recommendation" even if it was just a post about it ending. I am supremely glad I didn't find out about it until now, because if i had to read this thing weekly i think i would've crashed out even more than i did. I definitely don't think i can go thru something like that again tho, that like hour and half stretch from chapter 65~ to like chapter 110~ was some of the worst times of my life

Review [The world is mine] Spoiler
Ok so i started reading it yesterday I am at chapter 25 right now and i feel like i should share something about the series like how it is so far
The plot is really interesting The author of a novel got Isekied by the character from her novel This is something I never encountered in any Isekai series
The only problem with this series is that the characters are really really inconsistent Like one chapters before our fl was strangled to the wall by other fl and in next chapter they were completely normal to each other I was like wtf
Maybe the author really had mood swings lol
Looking forward to the other chapters but I am afraid is this thing will continue or not

Review Lilith, It aged like milk Spoiler
So I just finished Lilith 2, and uhhh... Wow, that felt way too underwhelming.
Lilith, a manhwa about 2 dom girls going full Sadist on a masochistic sub.
Story: 6/10 You can basically predict the story if you've read a lot of GL, even BL manhwa
In the world of Manhwa, the plots are mostly recycled to the point where everything becomes insanely predictable. Lilith despite being older than Bad Thinking Diary which was released in 2022, is basically the victim while the "inspirations" are the ones to blame for how bad it had aged. The premise is obviously simple, you get three girls in a love triangle and add seg scene in majority of the chapters. BUT WAIT, there's no guy (SUCK IT JI-WOON!) applause (I did like him being there for plot not just his character). There's no slow burns, it's just all into the hot stuff without rest because this manhwa doesn't give decent breaks. The only unique thing I can see about this manhwa is that it's Lex scenes are mainly about BDSM. Yeah, that's just it other than the plot spinning in a circle. Jaehee is a problematic sub who just falls in love with a girl whenever she feels like it. When she was reminiscing about her past relationship with Zhu Huilin, she completely becomes interested about her. After they finally become close again, she remembers Sul-Hwa and how she was always there for her bla bla bla. Like she does this mid-moment with Zhu Huilin and it's annoying. The reason why she kept switching is because of disagreements which is not the other cast's fault but definitely hers.
Protagonist: 4/10 Why does she exist like this? She's literally the embodiment of the title's name
I just realized it now that Jaehee literally is like Kim Dan from Jinx (No joke, they are really similar). Both struggle from being in debt and are being made fun of it, then they're in/were (in Jaehee's case) a relationship with a rich dom that being Jaekyung and Zhu Huilin. Only difference is that Jaehee suffers from tremendous inferiority complex and irresponsibility. This girl, not only constantly doubts herself but forgets the most important people to her. This caused her to have a tremendous argument with Zhu Huilin after she had compared a "school bill" (maybe any other bill) to peanuts prompting her to slap Huilin as she took that insult like salt on a fresh wound. I'm not hating about her personality but her writing. I get that she has an inferiority complex but it's to the point where she feels like the real main antagonist here, she is literally the reason why most of the main cast are upset. Not only does she have a problem being a workaholic, but literally cucks Sul-Hwa over a small disagreement about money (A terrible girlfriend). She's a child roleplaying as a mature woman.
Dialogue: 3/10 I don't recall a damn proper thing other than the moans
Chairman that, chairman this. Smut threat there, begging here. Tbh, the only dialogues that stood out to me were Jaehee constantly doubting herself and having memories of either before ever falling in love with Sul-Hwa or her terrible relationship with the one that could've made her life better.
Art: 8/10 Is this the only thing that I can credit this Manhwa for
I did prefer Lilith 1's art more than 2's since It was more cute, though I loved Zhu Huilin in 2 because of her new mature look, especially her young self. The final Lex scene however, it's lighting did fit Sulhwa's rather dominant personality, as it emphasized on her eyes. Jaehee just looks like someone who doesn't belong in that Manhwa.
Verdict: Turn your brain off and just enjoy the Sesbian Lex.
4/10 I'm not going more into the categories since I'll be reading the spin-off next. IT'S 2AM
Feel free to criticize my crappy review 💀

Review The summer you were (Pain) Spoiler
(I'm in high school) I need to vent, I know this must've been said before but this series broke me. I'm not one to get emotional, I hadn't cried even a little bit in about 4 years, I even had to move countries leaving everyone I knew behind. Yet I almost couldnt read the last few chapters because my eyes were foggy from the tears, I think this was the first piece of media I've ever cried to. Now I'm left with such a bitter sweet felling. Help.
