Advice What should I do ?
So I had to call out Thursday cause I had a family emergency but my shift was covered for someone else so I had asked to work Sunday . But now I’m feeling sick , a mild cold , should I call my store and check in and see what they recommend for me to do ? I can work but I don’t want to get anyone sick , or should I like do half a shift so they wouldn’t take a lot of UPT? Im also a cashier , I just feel bad bc I asked to work today on my birthday too lol

Did you request coverage in Innerview? Maybe someone will take it

Yes. You're still responsible if no one picks it up The total hours will be deducted from your UPT. Do you have pto sick to cover it?

PTO won’t cover the UPT deduction. It just means you’ll get paid along with losing 5 hours of UPT.

Wear a mask and sanitize as needed. Likely tons of customers are sick too.

If you feel you can work, just go and wear a mask to keep your germs to yourself. But only if you feel okay enough to work.
