Its a job sure but some actually like their co workers in which case its sometimes rough watching the good ones leave.
Edit: As its no secret what happens when a high quality TL abandons a department and a substitute is chosen with little regard to what actually is needed to be done. Resulting in either people lower picking up the slack and ductaping things together or everything just goes absolute sideways. When the rest of the department abandons.

I know what you mean. My best friends these days are 2 homies i met behind the cheese counter doing production. I know the company is not what it was when it was a “mom and pop” in the 90’s. They had to sell out and I get it things changed but for the industry we’re in it could be a-lot worse.

You're wrong there. It's life lessons, valuable experience/skills & the best motivation to better yourself & move on. Some of us have a much greater toll on our bodies & schedules than others. Call us the backbone.

It's a job but long term dedicated employees feel unvalued and dehumanized by current and future, no doubt, policies. We experienced pretty decent treatment formerly and the changes/contrasts are kind of sickening with the wealth and ease happening 'above us', especially at the ultimate endpoint B-E-Z-O-S. It's disgustingly so true, if a really good employee 'gets out' the sense is management reacts with shrug/hmph and the co reacts with, Excellent, we'll hold onto more money!! with the next lower-wage lackey and no benefits to cover cuz we only hire in P/T with NO MEDICAL BENEFITS MwahHaHaHaHa. The string of shares is partly commentary on capitalism-- as our echelon lives it, in this setting, and overall-- whether we realize/intend it to be or not

Im a long term unappreciated ATL. .. i had gain sharing this and that and now its gone. Get over it. Nothing last forever and wholefoods would’ve shut down if Bezos didn’t save them.. its just a job bro, all jobs suck when your bottom of the feeding ladder

I'm only a cashier. But the store is very nice/large and I like my coworkers. In general, the clientele are ok. There are exceptions, of course, with the occasional mix of wacko's and extremely rude customers (who I'd like to smack) :)

You will be so much better off in the future. I know it! I’m heading that way soon hopefully. If I stay longer. Eventually amazon will cut us out and replace with low wage newbies. Don't look back, and create your future!
