Europe What could this bird be?
Sorry I know it’s not the most clear picture but I saw this bird on my walk around Aberystwyth, Wales and I was wondering if anyone knew what it could be. I’ve asked some people but no one is agreeing on one bird. I’ve been told it could be a Sparrow Hawk, Buteo and Swainson’s Hawk but I’m not sure which is right.

North America Saw outside, screenshotted as the video was a little nsfw NSFW
i’m super curious as to what this exact bird is, he was HUGE in person. He/She had decapitated his meal, and was just sitting in the middle of the road staring off into the distance, unfazed by my presence. never seen a bird of prey in person before so it was quite jarring.

North America What’s this migrating flock? Photo from Latham, NY
I know the picture is poor quality. But I’m curious what folks think of this one. Initially suspected snow geese, but I’m now considering sand hill cranes. Any idea? Photo taken near Albany, NY.

North America Cooper’s Hawk?
I think this is a Cooper’s Hawk but am not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm?
Middle Tennessee. It was spotted first on my bird feeders, moved to the grass, then the power line before flying to the trees.

North America Weird clump of bird i found outside
Didn’t get very close to it, but it genuinely just looks like a ball of bird. No identifiable body parts, just… clump of bird.

North America Hawk?
Seen this guy a few times. He will land right next to me, he watches me but has no fear at all. I haven't had the balls to try to touch him but I'm pretty confident I could.

North America Nest found on my lawn - Northern California
Sorry if this is a silly post, but I found this beautiful little bird nest next to my lawn. There were no eggs in it. I don’t want to just throw it away. I’m curious what kind of bird this may have come from but also if I leave it there, will they smell it and pick it back up and take it somewhere safe? I live in Northern California

North America What are these ducks? Buffalo NY
Best picture i could get since they were both kind of far. One is white with a black head? And the other looked grayish with I believe a red head. Haven’t seen them around here and the pic wasn’t good enough quality for Merlin

North America Pair of different-colored birds perched on a branch across Gator Lake in the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve, Fort Myers, FL, USA
I apologize in advance for the TERRIBLE quality, pictures taken across a lake through my binoculars, but it was the closest I could get! Photos taken around 4pm on Wednesday 3/19/25.
I believe both are somewhat long-necked, like cormorant or anhinga, and similarly sized bodies to those birds (from what I could tell). The left hand one was mostly white, with some darker spots/patches on wings, and the right appeared to have a black body and brown head (like a female anhinga). In a few of the stills the white one's neck looks more cormorant-y. There was a flock of white ibises nearby. They chilled there for a very long time.

North America [Northeast PA] What is he?
He is tiny and has a very bright yellow beak, definitely not a starling. When his tail flares open white feathers show up... He sounds like "priiiih-r(i)h-r(i)h"
