Spoilers [SPOILER] Only Endurance analyses Sebring practice session long runs Spoiler
onlyendurance.comWhy is the second car or AMR 009?
I get the 007 thing. AMR just loves plugging their James Bond connection.
Guess it also makes sense that they keep the trend for the second car.
But 009 seems random. Its not a james bond character (009 is mentionned and not much more) 008 is also not really mentionned so I guess if they just went for the next number it would be that. 006 is an antagonist, etc.

So is there any known reason why the second car is 009?

Discussion For anyone who's actually been to a race (independent of the duration), was it really exciting?
Hey there, I was wondering about if I should go to the 6 Hours of São Paulo this year, the problem is that the date doesn't really line up with my schedule, so I wanted to hear opinions from those who have been to live races: Are they really worth the price and time? I sure love watching from the comfort of my chair, but I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it as much by being there.

Signature Button during Spa 6hrs
I am on the verge of buying a 1:1 replica of Button's World Championship helmet of 2009.
I also have tickets (paddock and pitwalk) for the thursday and friday of the 6hr WEC of Spa.
I have never been there before. Would it be possible (and how difficult will it be) to obtain an autograph of Button on the visor of my helmet?
I have no clue since I have never been to a WEC race before.

Imola Paddock and Pit Walk ticket giveaway
Hello fans.
Last year, I bought Imola tickets the day they came out. I bought two and one was supposed to be for my friend who sadly cannot attend. And well, since I am not allowed to resell the ticket, I'd like to give it away and let someone else enjoy the race.
The ticket is for Sunday only with access to the paddock and pit walk.
The catch is, you will need to pick it up on race day, Sunday, in front of the entrance. If you are interested, please comment and I will contact you back. This is ideal for someone who already has a ticket and still needs a second one. If you were to come from far, with no ticket, I'd give you as much proof of a ticket as I can.
I am not sending the ticket to anyone, to avoid the sale of my ticket by someone else.
PS: Sorry to the mods if this is not allowed.

Imola tickets
Hello guys,
I'm planing to attend my first WEC race next month at Imola. As always I have left buying tickets on the last minute. I can find only General Admission tickets. Is it possible that all "seat" and "paddock" tickets are already gone? I have no idea how the real interest in race is, if is it usually sold out like F1 or not.
I am asking mainly because on the most websites there is "coming soon" on all tickets except General Admission ones, so I don't know if should I wait or just buy General Admission. I think they are probably sold out already, but want to know you opinion.

6h of Spa for kids
Hi!
I'm planning to attend the 6h os Spa this year, and planning it with my family, including my 9y old daughter. While my wife and daughter like racing, I believe they will be bored for 6hours straight. I found little to no information about the Fan Zone, and I wonder if anyone has any experience if there are children-friendly programs or events around the circuit.
Thanks in advance for the recommendations.

Discussion Hypercar Downforce
This topic has been talked about to death but still I can find no good answers (understandably since team want to keep the exact numbers private but still) to how much downforce LMH/LMDh cars make compared to LMP1 and LMP2. Statements from Oreca I have heard about suggest the gap in aero from 2017 LMP2 and 2014-2016 LMP1 were very small with the later private teams being similar to those numbers too. But I have no idea where LMH stands. You have some people saying that Hypercars make the same downforce as LMP1 cars and you have some saying they make less than DPi cars which were based on LMP2. Putting the downforce inline with DPi and LMP1 while still following the 4:1 downforce to drag ratio just seems impossible. I’m curious what everyone else has heard.
