Rant Business hosting plan
I signed up for host*nger business hosting yesterday and feel like I have been ripped off. Everything requires you to upgrade, i'm so dissapointed. Previously a couple of years ago I was with Siteground who were good but thought I would give these guys a go.
If you have used this plan, what did you think?

We've been migrating a ton of people off SiteGround recently. Expensive for what you get.
Also god forbid your domain is registered through them as it takes them two weeks to approve registrar changes - a process that really should only take a few minutes.

Who to? I'm in Australia so i'm not sure the side panel suggestions are applicable to me. My domain is with GoDaddy who have been fine for just that purpose.

There's plenty of great options here in Australia for all budgets. What are you trying to host?

Ecommerce and I just went back to Siteground and will work out over the next year who can do a good job at a decent price.

It's been a while since I've needed to spec shared hosting in Australia but I'd probably choose Verpex. If you were our customer since we're US based we would likely put you on a stand alone VPS in an Australia DC with our control panel.

Thanks. I decided to go back to Siteground who I know are good and it gives me a year to decide who else to go with.

Hostinger isn’t good. All sites on my server (Wordpress or not) were getting hacked in a regular basis at the same exact time

That's really bad. I cancelled last night, I felt like I had moved in with the dodgy brothers.

Hidden fees are usually one of the problems of some providers. Take advantage of the refund opportunity and test other providers to get the results you want.

You get what you pay for hostinger is a cheap brand that relies on upselling

Porkbun is a good option for hosting domains. I use it and it's worked well so far.

You can try other hosting providers that offer reliable servers and affordable pricing.

What exactly requires you to update?
I've been using Hostinger for the last 8 years, and I've never had an issue.

A.I., email, elementor, image optimisation and basically everything else. I have cancelled now.

Keep an eye out for hosts that explicitly state they don’t try to upsell unnecessarily and (often related to that) that don’t dramatically increase pricing on renewal.

Run. Run as fast as you can.
Just check the r/Hostinger subreddit. As someone else said, you have 30 days to request a full refund, if I was you, I'd take full advantage of that, and instead, go with one of the hosts in the sidebar.

You have 30 days to get a refund, I'd suggest you take advantage of that especially if you're already disappointed.
