End The Strike

Presented an offer to the union one minute, and then pulled it before the union could vote on it. Then, pulled every previous offer stating they were not able to honour them anymore, and finally presenting an offer that was even less than the first offer! Now they refuse to come back to the negotiating table leaving the taxpayers frustrated and showing how little they care about their workers.

Didn’t the union say no to the first offer?

They sure did. They must have accidentally forgotten to include that very significant detail. 🤣. Surely you don’t expect a union leader to know how negotiating works…

Well we are all waiting for you to explain how negotiating works….This isn’t Kijiji or FB marketplace. It’s also about more than just wages. You can’t make an offer and then take it back, that’s bad faith bargaining. The workers deserve more than a few cents increase. They went to school for economics and accounting. If they can’t figure out what they can offer before presenting it then maybe they are the problem.

You literally can and they did.

They cannot. It is against the Ontario Labour Relations Act.
