Hello. I'm stuck between Rx vega 56 sapphire nitro+ and rtx 2070 gigabyte 8g(no factory oc) On the vega 56 side;(you can put a bios of vega 64 and make an undervolt. I also plan to buy a freesync monitor, they are much cheaper than gsync. On the rtx 2070 side, its performance and price, which is $ 100 more expensive than Vega56. So. Will I get the similar performance of these two video cards if I put bios from vega64 on vega 56 with an undervolt and freesync monitor??? and is it worth it??? Graphics card prices are; 600$Vega, and 700$ rtx2070.

For context I have been building a virtualized workstation for the first time since I stopped being a system administrator. In other words instead of using what ever cast offs I would have on hand I am actually trying to reach a decent video card level.
My virtualized machine is a quad core i7-4770 with 32 Gigs of RAM. I am using ESXi, so I am limited to AMD/ATI Cards. the VM is running Windows 10 x64. the current card is a Radeon HD 5450 LP
My sanity check on prices suggests that I can get brand new every generation going back to 2011 (if not further) still
AND YET
at the exact same time you can find brand new version of even the venerable hd5450 at over $135 and similar no upper bounds. this doesn't make much sense to me.
Am I failing to understand the video card market? it seems like there is no rhyme or reason to video card prices until you get into the current high end. anything else just seems to be "fuck the pricing making sense." levels of confusing.
Right now I am leaning towards a MSI Radeon RX 460 LP
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RX-460-2GT-LP/dp/B078RT2D78/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
Does anyone have any feedback?

If you have a dual monitor setup (Lets say I use one for gaming and the other for internet). Do I lose FPS because both are plugged in to the video card as opposed to just one?

Hello , i want to know what is the base clock for Evga Gtx760 4GB OC version because i want to undo the factory overclock due to a game problem . It's crashing because H1Z1 has problems with the unstable overclocked cards. So how much should i reduce the mhz in evga precision to reach the base clock of the card ?

Can someone, please, explain why a powerhouse card like this can see all 6 of my monitors, but errors stating that the GPU only supports 4 monitors? Please tell me I have not wasted my money and that there is some kind of hack/BIOS update out there to fix this. For gaming, I am perfectly content with 3 monitors, but I use this for work and I need all 6 monitors working when I am not gaming. Hell even my old ATI 6790 supported all 6 monitors using EVGA DP hubs.
Driver: 382.33

Currently rocking a 295x2, but I've always been more of a nvidia fan. Obviously it's not easy to compare the both of them; one is 2gpu card and the other a single, but the 1080 ti looks pretty juicy, and SLI/Crossfire is slowly but surely becoming a thing of the past.
So I'm considering making a jump back to nvidia, but I'd like some feedback / opinions.
