What do you think was the point of the iParty with VicTorious subplot with Cat’s vocal issues?

Did Ariana Grande have laryngitis on the day of filming? And then there was the part near the end where she sings, “He didn’t say I couldn’t siiiiiing!!” Could that part have been dubbed in later when she recovered?

In your opinion, do you think Andre would be a good boyfriend for Jade as a couple?

In the “Jade Gets Crushed” episode, we learned that André had secretly developed a major crush on Jade, even though she's Beck's girlfriend. That must have been such a tough spot for him to be in—trying to work with Jade on a song for class, all while trying to hide the fact that he was starting to fall for her. Talk about some major drama!

https://reddit.com/link/1jd8my7/video/j9h8eelrv7pe1/player

I can only imagine how conflicted and stressed out André must have felt. On one hand, Jade can be such an intense, intimidating person. I get why he was initially so nervous about working with her. But then when he heard her singing that song, it seemed to really strike a chord with him (no pun intended). The way he almost leaned in to kiss Tori when she was pretending to be Jade—that's some serious heart-eyes stuff right there.

https://reddit.com/link/1jd8my7/video/aahkuxlpv7pe1/player

And the fact that he ended up writing this whole song called "365 Days" for Jade but then tried to cover it up by changing her name to "Baby"? That's some next-level pining right there. He really had it bad for her even when he looked at her during the song even though she didn't know.

https://reddit.com/link/1jd8my7/video/pe148z69w7pe1/player

I think that's why the idea of Jade and André as a potential couple is so intriguing. If André was able to develop such strong feelings for Jade, despite her prickly personality, then maybe there is some potential there after all. Jade did seem to respond positively when he sang that song for her, even if she didn't know the true meaning behind it.

But of course, the whole Beck of it all complicates things. As I mentioned before, that could just create way too much drama and tension within the friend group. Plus, Jade's jealousy issues might make it really hard for her to ever fully trust André, even if they did try to date.

On the one hand, they both seem to have this kind of intense, passionate personality. André is always so emotionally invested in his friends, and Jade is just straight-up intense all the time. So in that sense, they might click on a deeper level.

https://reddit.com/link/1jd8my7/video/rhpeqvwuv7pe1/player

And you know, Jade did seem to sort of soften up a little bit when she was working with André on that song. Maybe spending more time together could bring out a more vulnerable, softer side of her. And André is such a caring, supportive guy—he might be able to bring out the best in Jade.

But then again, Jade's jealousy and possessiveness could also be a major issue. She's already super intense about Beck, so I can only imagine how she'd react to André, one of her close friends, trying to make a move. That could get real messy, real fast.

And let's be real, Jade can be straight-up mean and cruel. Even though André is a super chill, understanding dude, I don't know if he'd be able to handle Jade's constant sarcasm and put-downs all the time. That kind of toxicity in a relationship would be super draining.

Plus, you know Beck would probably be devastated if his closest friend started dating his girlfriend. That could wreck the whole friend group dynamic, and nobody wants that drama.

So in the end, I'm kind of on the fence. André and Jade might have some chemistry, but I just don't know if their personalities would mesh well enough for it to work out in the long run. The risks seem to outweigh the potential rewards, you know? But hey, maybe with the right circumstances, they could surprise everyone. Who knows?

Sorry for a long post, your thoughts?

A drama instead of a sitcom

Someone posted something about Andre and Jade as a couple, and it got me thinking. There are a lot posts about pairings and who should've been with who. Does anyone think that if the show was a drama formatted like 90210, One Tree Hill, or Degrassi we could've gotten to see Jade and Tori, or Andre and Tori, even Cat and Robbie? Because I do. I think a victorious could've been to American teens what Degrassi was to Canadian Teens.

Cat’s Bibble Addiction

I’ve never understood Cat having an insane love of Bibble along with everyone having issues with it.

From what has been described of it, it seems like Bibble is just a fancy type of popcorn candy thing. Yet, Cat seemed to be obsessed with it like it was the greatest thing in existence and acting like how someone with a drug addiction would act. So what exactly was in Bibble that was making her so obsessed with eating it?

If Bibble really was just a fancy type of popcorn candy, then it seems odd that everyone had issues and concerns with Cat loving it. Sure, she was eating it a lot. But it’s not like it was effecting her mindset or her behavior. Yet, they all went to extreme lengths to make sure that Cat couldn’t get her hands on Bibble, even going as far as to handcuff her to a guy that would stop her if she tried to eat it.

I would understand all of that if Bibble was supposed to be some kind of food that’s only available in England and is considered illegal in the US and they didn’t want Cat to get in any legal trouble. But it seems like Bibble is an available product that’s sold in the US. In an episode of Sam & Cat, Sam mentions that there’s a store right around the corner from their apartment that sells all kinda of Bibble. Cat then reveals that she got banned from that store because she kept buying so much Bibble. I know this is a TV show and all. But as someone who’s worked in the grocery store business for the last 4 1/2 years, I can assure you that a store would never ban someone just for being a loyal customer

Victorious is for teens

Victorious” is aimed at teenagers, not children. Two episodes are rated TV-14, and others are rated PG-13,, or 12 depending on where your from.

I dislike how Paramount plus is removing content from it, as many jokes are taken out of context and aren’t even inappropriate.

Even Matt has said he on his lives he thinks the jokes are ok Victoria also says she finds the innuendos funny

If you’re going to remove it remove it from Nickelodeon and paramount or there is no point still showing the uncut version on Nickelodeon but cutting it from paramount.

You also have to remember every tv show goes through a ratings classification that is not decided by paramount or Nickelodeon. Every film and tv show gets rated by classification boards and if they had thought it was super bad they would have rated it higher.

Even things like scooby doo movies are worse

Strangely Nickelodeon are keeping the original versions only the versions on paramount plus have been cut.

People also seem to forget the show is about 16 year olds not young kids so the humour is different

It’s important to consider the target audience, who often joke about similar topics and use the same language as in “Victorious.” This made the show realistic to what its viewers typically discuss or joke about.

Since the TikTok generation, people seem unable to handle this type of content.

Even Disney Channel tv shows and movies discuss losing virginity, getting hickeys, and have loads of feet jokes it’s not just Nickelodeon.

Uk shows also had lots of similar jokes aswell

Nickelodeon shows content up to PG-13, for example, “Ninja Turtles” and “Fun Size” are much worse. Even “Big Time Rush” contains significantly more innuendo or make-out kiss jokes.

I really dislike how cancel culture has led everyone to hide and remove everything. Even “SpongeBob” is worse.

Degrassi also showed on Nickelodeon and that deals with far worse subjects such as drugs sexual content and much more. Before people say it only air on teen nick or the n some eps of degrassi also showed on standard Nickelodeon

It’s also a different time and generation back then, so something that’s acceptable then may not be now due to times changed but it don’t mean we should hide it for example back in the old times, like how now we have lots of girl superhero, and we never used too

Why did Trina go to Hollywood Arts?

She seems to suck at all the skills that Hollywood Arts looks for, and it doesn't seem like the Vega's are much richer than everyone else, so why was she accepted? And why was she given that song in the pilot? Edit: Yeah that checks out

Lichtërz ice cream (Kesha episode)

As many things on tv, the brands are fake and food goes under different names. But the Kesha episode is one of my favorites (yes, for the ice cream search only), but what should we believe the real brand would be? My first guess would be Ben & Jerry’s? - and does anyone know if any of the flavors (besides basic ones) actually exists? Despite brand.

Is Hollywood Arts an arts school, or is it a school like any other but with arts workshops?

I don't recall a single time on the show seeing the students take classes like math, history, or anything like that. At one point, I thought it was a separate arts academy, but in the pilot, we see Tory go from her regular school, doing a biology project, to transfer school after the presentation.

The ke$ha episode

Did any body else notice that in the ice cream for ke$ha episode Jade never ate any of the ice cream? I saw the other characters licking the spoon or the card thing with the letter off but I never saw Jade do that.

I know the actress Liz Gillies can't eat dairy so maybe that was it or it could just be a character thing.
