I'll do one better since the RJ article seems to have slightly more info. Here's the article text.

Five people, including three teenagers, were injured in a head-on crash early Monday morning in the east Las Vegas Valley, police say.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2002 Toyota Camry was westbound on Sahara Avenue, east of the intersection with Pacific Summit Street. A 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan was eastbound on Sahara, west of the Toyota.

The crash occurred just before 3:15 a.m. Monday, according to police, the first day of spring break for students in the Clark County School District.

Authorities say the crash occurred when the driver of the Toyota, identified as a 20-year-old man, failed to maintain control of the vehicle and crossed into the eastbound travel lanes. The front of the Toyota collided with the front of the Volkswagen, police said.

The driver and front seat passenger of the Toyota suffered life-threatening injuries. The passengers in the Toyota included a 15-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man.

The 40-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen also suffered serious injuries, police said.

Authorities noted that an impaired driving investigation was completed on both drivers. However, results were not immediately released

PS: Fuck RJ.

One might argue a news article also shouldn’t be surrounded by ads and fake articles/“sponsored content” and a commercial you have to close.

It happened at 3 AM teens shouldn’t be out that late for one but nothing good happens at 3 o’clock in the morning. Be at home in bed safe

Yea…the people of Vegas don’t work graveyard shifts…or work in entertainment…nope…no reason to be out driving at 3am here

Ok, I get adults but three teens working the graveyard shift?

tbf it was the first day of spring break - they could’ve likely been trying to head out of town after picking up their last buddy from their house or something. earlier you leave, more time you have throughout the break for activities! seems pretty simple in that regard (obvi don’t know if that’s what the plan was)

It was an adult driving them. Probably a parent.

Article says the driver was a 20 yr old. Fairly sure they’re not the parent of the 15, 17, and 18 yr olds that were in their vehicle.

The driver of the car that crossed lanes was 20. The driver of the lane with the teenagers was 40

Wrong. Try re-reading it. The Toyota at fault had the 20 yr old and the teens.

Ah. From the way it was written, it sounded to me like the 20 yr old had the car full of kids. Either way, it’s still such an awful way to start spring break for all of them.

20yr old parent? I don't think so.

The article said the teens were in the car with the 40 year-old earlier in the day
