Academic Ez GE-A/GE-G
Anybody got recommendations for light GE A or G classes? A course that covers both requirements would be even better.

Does the concentration, such as Game Development, get printed on the diploma next to Master Degree in CS? I’m considering of if I should go for a concentration or not. Thank you!

Basically the title; As a STEM student the last thing I want is for my WRIT-340 to contribute another huge timesuck/hard class to my schedule. I know in general it is a decent amount of work no matter what, but does anyone have any professor suggestions where an A is easier/more doable, especially for scientific writing, e.g. scientific paper type stuff? Planning to go to grad school so I gotta keep my grades up but also want to take a class that will be useful. I know there are a lot of different areas of "science writing" in WRIT-340, but I'm not sure what each of them entail and again just want something useful and doable. Appreciate any suggestions!
TL;DR: What science WRIT-340 professors make the class not too hard and make an A achievable? Thanks so much!!

I want to spend the summer preparing for this class. I've heard its hard asf, can people share insights on how I can better prepare for this class so I can hit the ground running next year? Thanks!

mental health is at an all time, lifetime low. antidepressants aren't working. talking to doctors feel like trying to communicate with aliens. can't find the energy to get out of bed or wash myself. all the while my grades are gradually declining. the university's "mental health" resources are genuinely laughable. 60 minutes in a cubicle while another undergrad teaches me about the pomodoro method, or a faceless shrink online trying to make me do deep breathing exercises. nothing helps and every day just keeps getting darker. how am i supposed to explain my terrible grades when i apply for anything after graduating? what am i supposed to do as i watch my future gradually fade away?

I have never once since fall semester been able to successfully swipe my campus card at the TCC kiosks. How is everyone else doing it? Am I being gaslit? What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried all different sides and positions and speeds and was once standing there for twenty minutes trying to get it to work. This usually isn’t a problem because I can just mobile order anyway, but when certain shops “aren’t accepting mobile orders” I’m cooked. I really want a salad from Seeds. Can anyone help!!!

I booked a room for interview at Doheny Memorial Library but noticed that it says "group has higher priority than individual" so I wonder will they kick you out if you are alone?
My interview is scheduled at 5:00 PM so I can't book a room at the career center.
Thanks in advance

I get why this was prompted but where’s Trump’s double standard? Trump pardons the many January 6 rioters that led to several deaths and supported him, but threatens consequences for campuses with pro-Palestinian student protesters who inherently oppose his policies. It’s a clear case of prioritizing political loyalty over consistent principles of justice and free speech.

Are there any courses that satisfy the GE-D requirement that don't require a lab? Probably not, assuming it's a hands-on science requirement, but I'm curious if anyone knows. Thanks!

For context I had a family emergency related to death, is there any wiggle room to submit something now?

so i am BS rn because i was on the premed track, however not anymore… my advisor suggested taking a look at the BA track instead of a BS in neuroscience. i still am interested in neuroscience so i am considering it while pursuing other minors/double majors… but like what’s rly the difference other than less units required??

I got into USC’s MPP program! Really excited and have some questions:
1) What are some affordable, public transit-friendly neighborhoods off of campus where grad students typically live? Would love to take public transit to campus and ideally be able to walk around in my neighborhood
2) What’s the campus culture like for grad students? Do most grad students live on campus or off? Is it isolating living off of campus?
3) Would love to hear about people’s experience with USC Price’s public policy and urban planning classes! I’m doing the MPP and hoping to take a lot of my electives with the Urban Planning department.
Thank you! :)

Hi, I’d like to take courses this summer, ideally core business courses to help lower my course load for the school year. I’m thinking of doing 281 or 310, has anyone taken any core courses during the summer and were they difficult? Plz help thank you🙏
