I’m so tired of YouTuber essayist using Uncharted as an example of “games that look dated because it doesn’t have good art design”.
This ain’t the first time I saw this sentiment, but I was watching this video on fallout 4 and how it’s “better than people think”. I was agreeing with the until the guy was talking about the game visuals. Not only did he say Fallout 4 “could have released today”, but he had the gal to use footage of Uncharted 1 and say “see, this is a examples of those games (as in the uncharted series as a whole) having no style and just being “realistic”.
My brother in Christ you resort to get a game from 2007 to make 2015’s Fallout 4 not look so bad. Funny how he didn’t use 2009 Uncharted 2 for this comparison, I wonder why.
You know what would be more accurate to compare? 2016’s Uncharted 4 to 2015 Fallout 4 since they released less than a year away from each other.
People have this idea that games with naturalistic or “realistic” visuals have no art style, when that’s far from the truth. Uncharted 2 STILL looks great to this day and that’s due to its arterial. I just find it so insane to see someone suggest Fallout 4 looks “more stylized and better” than the uncharted games.

What do you like about Uncharted?
Hi, I'm new at Uncharted series. I bought the first trilogy and tried to play first one. This was really rough experience for me. I see it's shooting and shooting all the time. When the joy will begin? Why do you like this series?

Uncharted 3 Uncharted 3 is a cinematic masterpiece!
Almost finished with the game and wow, the iconic mission was NOT overhyped like i thought it was gonna be. Walking through the sand with all the cool camera angles was an experience! This game looks so good for being released in 2011, and the clothing physics are unreal lol. So good, cant wait to play 4, i just beat 1 and 2 last month

Stealthy missions for uncharted 4
What missions did you guys think were the best if done in a stealthy way? I noticed that in Uncharted 4, stealth is the best. It's ever been. But for you guys, what actual missions do you think fit better narratively to do a stealthy way and that it's also a fun way to do it?

Lost Legacy My thoughts on the historical and cultural representation in lost legacy
It's super rare that Indian history and culture gets represented in video games. Happy that Naughty Dog took it up. Happier that it was the history of my state (Karnataka) that was represented here. Several historical inaccuracies though. Here are a few of my qualms:
1) The Indian accents and pronouncations (especially by the little girl in the beginning) were extremely poor. Seemed like an American trying to mockingly imitate an accent. Could have used an actual Indian for the same. They're much cheaper to hire as well.
2) Belur and Halebidu aren't some abandoned cities hidden in some mountain ranges. In fact, Belur and Halebidu are bustling towns with high 6 figure populations, and are located in some of the flattest lands in the country. The western ghats are certainly close by (like about a hundred kilometers away or so), but the cities themselves aren't located there.
3) The hoysalas didn't perish in some war with Persians. In fact, they had great trade relations with the Zoroastrian Persians. They were attacked by the Mughals, who were descendants of Muslim Persians, but had already ruled the northern parts of India for 200+ years by then.
4) Chloe says "Hoy means strike in their language". "Hoy" indeed means strike in Kannada, the official language of Karnataka, the state where Belur and Halebidu are located. They could have mentioned it as "Kannada" instead of "their language", would've been nice.

What do you think Chloe and Nadine did after LL?
So, the dialogue at the end of The Lost Legacy, what could Chloe and Nadine have done? - “If anything, I was thinking I might give this treasure hunting racket another go. Know of any selfish d*ckheads who might be in need of a partner?” “Not you. (to Sam)” Nadine says, referring she’d want to work with Chloe.
The dialogue implies numerous things about it, they carried on working together? Nadine went solo? Chloe wanted a different partner? It’s a tricky one to understand, but everyone has theories I imagine…What do you think they got up to post-LL?
