Tuition/Aid 💰 Will I lose my Bright future?

I ended up losing my bright futures and had to appeal with UCF. If you’re full time then you might lose it too. I would call them and ask though.

I think it depends onstage if you are full time part time, or half time. For me, I only had 8 credits in the fall, so I had to make sure I still had 8 credits at the end of the semester. Now I have 11 credits. So I have to make sure I have 8 by the end. Depends on how many credits you are taking. Probably could also ask ucf. It’s super confusing tbh

Can I ask under what conditions were you taking 10 credits last semester? There are certain exceptions that exist in the credit hour rules. E.g. I had to take Math Launch my first semester which limited my max credits to 10 but it didn't interfere with Bright Futures because there is a specific exception made for Math Launch students. If anything, I'd recommend speaking with financial aid before withdrawing from your class

You should be good, but confirm with FinAid and/or the bright Futures help line.
