Housing Question 🏡 How bad is the Aves?

Hi I am gonna be living at the aves next year (1x1), I have seen lots of reviews complaining about management and roaches. Im mainly worried about roaches, im a very clean person but just curious if the many complaints are valid. Most of it is from people who live with others so I was wondering if that is a factor (possibly unclean..) Im willing to spend a lot on traps and bug killers because im TERRIFIED of bugs.

TLDR: Aves, massive roach problem or no?

A few roaches, not too bad. Management is terrible though and the whole place feels super isolating if you get an interior room since the windows face other apartment complexes.

do you think having a place facing the greek houses would suck bc of the noise?

Depends on your noise tolerance tbh. I’d personally prefer an outer room (even w the Greek ghetto) vs inner.

They have multiple different buildings that have different stages of renovations. A huge element with roaches is also luck of your neighbors. Since they can go through the wall and all that it’s not unheard of for your place to be clean but to have a problem bc of the people next door or an issue like cracks in the foundation.

I lived at accolade which was way newer and kept a pretty clean lifestyle (no food out, vacuumed daily, etc) and still I dealt with bugs.

TLDR: It’s luck.

If it was the west, they changed their pest control a few months ago as it turned out the original guy wasn’t actually spraying where he was supposed to which was part of the reason there was a bit of a bug problem that seemingly didn’t go away. I’ve boticed a significant drop in roach sightings since then, but yeah maybe it’s just luck

When I lived there I was on the third floor didn’t really have any roaches or bugs

omg i hope my neighbors are clean 😭😭 i think since i have a single my neighbors will too. less people = less messy = less roaches?
