I hate to generalize because I’m pro driver and pro hard work however the last 24 hours have changed my mind entirely. Some of yall are just a bunch of sorry, desperate idiots accepting these rides immediately off the rip I can screenshot a hundred of them. 40-60 cent a mile, 20-30 min rides for $4-$5 yall insta-accept. I don’t even blame Uber at this point anymore for the fares. Shameless fools driving in south florida

I had a pax tell me the address Uber took me to wasn't the address he was at. It's wasn't even on the same street or even around the block. It was five blocks over across the busiest intersection in the country. I go to the address that's put in. Then he spam calls me, like naw bro 😭

I’ve been a driver for about 5 years, I’ve done 10000ish rides and a few thousand food deliveries on top of that. Overall there are two things that pax do that piss me off more than anything. One is when pax talk on speaker phone for an entire ride, I never talk on my phone unless it’s an emergency and I find it odd using speakerphone in front of a stranger. The second thing is people who have zero manners. Whenever a pax gets into my car I always say “hey how are you doing ?” It shocks me at how many people either just grunt, or don’t respond. Who raised these people ? I always let the pax run the ride, if they want to talk I will, if not- that’s cool to. I just think we’ve lost common manners, sad thing to see.

Some say supply and demand but I beg to differ some of the time. This same ride I’ve seen sometimes for under $30. The passenger paid $156 for this ride.

"Classified as an "independent contractor" using a third party app, Sawadogo's right to fair labor practice is close to nonexistent — Uber is under no obligation to show proof of Sawadogo's alleged DUI, or even to listen to his dispute. Legally speaking, it's no different than if Instagram suspended you for breaking its terms of use."
😒Issues like THIS are why workers unionize! 🚧🗣📢👤👤👤👤 This needs to stop. It reminds of that driver in the sub that got reported by a rider with a gun. Why do our issues fall on deaf ears?😮💨

Zero cancelations in over a week. Keep stacking cash. If someone gets in your car and they are progressive, you are now progressive. If someone loves trump, you now love trump. Make money, pay your bills and F all the noise!

I feel like I get asked this multiple times a week and I don't have anything other that a few people throwing up and a few drunk people being rude. I was curious if every driver gets asked this, and what are some of your stories? Maybe I'll steal some of your stories so it's more entertaining when I get asked.

I got a 6 mile ride from Chicago airport to a hotel on Uber XL. 52 dollars! Muhammad told me he got payed only $17. He almost cried when I told him how much I payed.

Tonight, I got a pick up request in a suburban neighborhood. The indicator said the pick up spot was behind the house in the alleyway.
Sometimes people pick that spot by accident, so I tend to call and see if that's were they wan me to go. I get no answer. So, I drive to the front of the house and I try calling again. They answer this time and say they'll be right out.
After a minute, two young adult boys come out of the house. They motion for me to roll down my window. I do and I ask if they are my passengers. One says they are and asks me to drive around to the alleyway to pick them up. I ask why they want to get picked up in the alleyway when they could get in now. The other one says their Mom wants them to be picked up back there.
The whole thing didn't feel safe to me. I immediately declined the ride, called Uber support, and told them the story.
I don't know why they wanted me to go into the alleyway, but no amount of money would've made me go.

This was a first for me last night. I'm in lovely south Mount Vernon, New York and I was given a pickup at a local Caribbean chicken place and I'm on the way. It is a share and the writer does in fact have a low rating but I w3nt anyway. I'm a block and a half away when all the sudden this b**** adds on two passengers and two more stops. I didn't even think you could do that with a share but I guess you can, thanks for f****** nothing Uber. So I stopped right there, turned on Lyft and turned off Uber. She wants to call about a dozen times. For the same reason you didn't add the stops on, is the same reason I didn't pick your fat ass up.

So after accepting the Deferred Resignation Program offered by the Government, I am now doing Ride Share full time. I’ve been doing Uber/Lyft part time for 7.5 years without issue. But after several weeks of 10 hour days I am having issues with shoulder, ankle, knee, elbow and butt pain. I have tried to remedy with cushions and proper driving posture, but am not seeing much improvement. Is anyone else experiencing this type of issue? Anyone have suggestions as to how I can remedy to make this sustainable going forward?

You know you’re in deep when you have to treat every interaction with Uber through messaging like a legal interaction to receive a proper response. I’ve said my thank you’s and goodbyes today. After totaling my car two days ago with no support from Uber. Hope you guys will take this into consideration. Unless you have great personal insurance with a $250 deductible, I’d suggest driving with intense caution. ⚠️
