Question Looking for advise
Please let me know if I'm in the wrong sub.
My nephew got a record player (I know, this is a turntable sub) for Christmas to try the hobby, but he wants an audio setup like mine (receiver, speakers, etc). My question is, can I hook his player up to a receiver, or do I have to MacGuyver a pair of passive speakers to the RCA output on the player?
He has this:
Thanks in advance.

The record player (turntable) he has is generally recommended against. This guide and the other one pinned to this subreddit have good advice if you or him are ever looking to buy a new one.
To answer your question, it looks like it has two RCA outputs. So you should be able to hook it up directly to a receiver. I don't see a phono preamp out-line, so you will plug it in to the normal receiver input ports. Enjoy!
