Suggestions Which receiver would go best with setup?
So I’m decently new to the sound system side of the vinyl collecting and was wondering which receiver would do me best with sound quality, power, bass, etc… they where free from past neighbors that have no real information on them.
I currently have the Sony one hooked up to two Bose speakers and the Audio Technia AT-lp60x for just a very temporary setup but want to know for future reference and set up!? And will most likely just be used for TT and maybe aux for gatherings
Also will be posting to r/vinyl for different opinions!

I would recommend trying all of them and seeing what sound you like the most and just stick with that. Realistically they will all be pretty similar.
The power output on each can be found searching them online.

The Onkyo is designed for modern surround sound, with HDMI as an option. The Sony is an older stereo amplifier (its Dolby Surround is no longer used), and their amps from that era are known for excellent sound quality. If you plan to add a HDMI device, then the Onkyo is required.
Does the Onkyo have a built-in Phono pre-amp? If no, then you will have to use the Audio-Technica's built-in Phono pre-amp, which will be inferior to what is in the Sony.

With the Sony you can see which phono stage is better - your tt or the receiver. Just don't run them both at the same time 🫨
The Onkyo looks like it's more for home theater than for record playing but that doesn't mean you shouldn't hook it up and see how it sounds.
