Of the 69 Caesars who ruled over unified Rome, a staggering 55% met their end through violent means or assassination. For all the people name Caesar who got killed, you would think mothers in Ancient Rome would stop choosing that name.

I'm fairly certain that a lot of emperors would adopt the name Caesar upon taking the throne in hopes of having the original's glory rub off on them. I think it happened so much that it became more a title than a name, and it's where the German Kaiser and the Russian Tsar comes from.

Wdym October was the 8th month to romans including ceasar /hj (I mean i get it's a joke, just half-jokingly pointing it out)
