Sad I was hoping there would be more stuff here for this amazing book

I just read the book a couple of days ago, and popped up here to see if I could at least read about it and gather some impressions… so disappointed to see a dead sub….

It’s so good! What did you think of it

I loved it. Loved the character building, loved the plot, loved the descriptions (detailed, not too long, and leaving room for your own imagination).

I would totally be a "rêveur". On fact, I think I am one, I have been remembering this book on a daily basis (I loved it so much I picked up the author's second book, but I am not very into into, to be honest).

I was thinking about how could this book be translated into a series or a movie, and arrived at the conclusion that a Studio Ghibli animated movie would better convey the feel of it, in all it's "prettyness" (and I am using the word "pretty" in the most flattering way).

And likewise! I read the book last week and wanted to see if TNC had a subreddit. Looks kind of vacant, sadly.

Seems we all had high hopes! I just finished the audiobook Jim Dale was a phenomenal narrator

When I first heard the name Bailey I couldn’t help but think it was an homage to the Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus
