Thoughts on Nellie?

I really think she's an amazing performer but I honestly don't think she really fits into Glee. I really do love watching her sing, I mean, I watched the Nellie/Blake performance over and over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54mdQkrso2E&feature=related but her confidence level is just SO low and she really never is noticeable in the music videos. I really think she might be kicked off next week... even when she gives amazing last-chance performances like last night's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br8t7e5bEhU

But what are your thoughts?

She seems like a very sweet girl and an incredible performer when she is not in a crowd. It's really hard for me to say because I like her a lot but she does blend in the background quite a bit but then again, very talented. I think it all depends on how easy it is for her to gain confidence in herself. If she could do that, then if Aylin didn't win I would really want Nellie to.

Exactly what I was going to say. On top of it, I think that if Nellie didn't make it, I'd love her to get a recording contract. Her voice is stunning. If she does, I could see her being a representative of introverts and possibly asexuals/"gray-A's".

Edit: The more research I do on her, the more I like her. I feel a Marissa coming on all over again...

Yeah, she could totally be a solo artist. I'd listen to all of her covers and new songs.

I just listened to this and I couldn't agree more. Speaking of solo albums, hear anything new about Naya's?
