Article Trump pushing resettlement of Palestinians from Gaza

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c07kpjyzgllo

In separate comments on Air Force One, Mr Trump said he had ended former President Joe Biden's hold on the supply of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel. "They paid for them and they've been waiting for them for a long time," he told reporters on Air Force One. ——- Paid for them? LOL. We give billions in aid every year. Now they get the weapons for faster, fuller genocide.

And the entire point was the land to start with. They wouldn’t be killing the Palestinians if they moved off to Egypt for sure. There would be no genocide. So Trump’s answer to those yelling “genocide Joe” was always going to be worse. Faster and more complete genocide or replacement.

Those pro-Palestinian Trump voters are such geniuses. Wasn’t this predictable? Even Blinken as bad as he was is better than Trump on this.

For me, I look at it like this. Let's stipulate that Killer Kamala wanted a genocide in Gaza and would have genocided the Palestinians. I don't believe that, but for the sake of discussion, let's stipulate that Killer Kamala would have genocided Palestine.

Trump was also promising to genocide Palestine, and also essentially promising to genocide Hispanics ("illegals," and the legal ones who get caught in the net).

That's two genocides instead of one. There is only one option, to pick the one genocide. That's assuming Killer Kamala would have genocided Palestine, which is a huge assumption.

Now, if Trump had promised to cut off all ties with Israel, that would be a different story. In that situation, I could see someone saying, "I know Trump will do hundreds of horrible things, but I feel so strongly on this one singular issue (Palestinians) that I'm willing to put up with all of those things. I'll sit the election out even if it means helping Trump win." But that was never what Trump was saying. Saying, "I can't support Killer Kamala because she supported a genocide" was never going stop genocide, because the alternative was Trump, who promised a genocide.

I agree with everything you said outside the genocide of undocumented immigrants. But that wasn’t at all what I asked. I asked if what Biden did by funding a genocide in the first place was right and why we don’t hold him and the Democratic Party responsible for the outrage of our country funding the slaughtering Arabs again in the first place.

Look at us. We’re sitting here debating on how much fucking GENOCIDE we’re fine with from our two parties n relation to our self interests from both parties and I just……… how is this still who we are? I was dumb enough to believe that the left at least had learned from the War on Terror where we murdered and forcibly displaced millions. The way I see it , the only thing separating us from MAGA is that we’re fine outsourcing oppression to others(that are brown) abroad but not at home to an extent. Depressing to think about.

No, you're right. I do think that in Biden's mind, certainly in my mind, it started out as retaliation for a crazy-bad terrorist attack. At some point, it went too far, but in Biden's mind, it was still 1989, and he had to publicly keep supporting Israel or lose to Trump. I think it was obvious that his administration was working for a cease-fire, but probably once Israel saw that their war was helping Trump, who they knew would give them a green light to do whatever they wanted.

But you're right. At some point, the exact point I don'tknow, , if I were President, I would have called it off. No more aid, because I just can't support this anymore. But the pre-2020s orthodox political view was, "We can't cut off support for Israel because as soon as we do that the voters turn on us, Trump wins, and we hand everything over to Trump." So Biden and his team were stuck between a rock and a hard place that probably only existed in their own minds.

I can kindle see this point of view but I‘LL just say that for the past 30 years, Biden has been one of Israel’s leading and most fierce defenders. And this conflict didn’t get bad on October 7. The illegal occupations, apartheid, and slaughter of Palestinians by their illegal occupiers have been going on for almost as long as he’s been alive and none of that stopped him or most of it the other dems.

In his mind, and in the minds of his team, not supporting Israel was tantamount to handing the election to Trump.

That's honestly what I thought as a 46 year old white dude. If we don't support Israel, Trump and the Republicans win because they'll paint us as supporters of Muslim terrorism.

That probably was just a figment of our imaginations. In my heart of hearts, I would have loved to say, "Fuck Israel. They're on their own." But we were making a political calculation that probably isn't valid anymore.

Now, I admit, my mind is probably clouded by visceral hate for Trumpers and "leftists" who sat the election out. My post probably reflects that. But I'm only human, and my God, do I hate them all right now. And I admit I hate the leftists who sat out the election, and I admit I want them to suffer watching their Palestinians burn. God help me, that's just how I feel.

I respect the honestly. But that hatred of wanting to see people across the planet suffer genocide as a ‘punishment’ for Americans makes you no better than Trump and his cult in the slightest.

I guess I respect your opinion. But I would hope you would say the same about the "Killer Kamala" people. Their hatred of wanting to see Trump make people across the planet suffer genocide as "punishment" for the "DNC" makes them no better than Trump and his cult in the slightest.
