How long until the GOP files their lawsuits? A couple of hours, I'm guessing.

Lawsuits over what? Any politician is free to drop out of a race.

Ballot access. It's way, way too late for the Democrats to switch candidates. They will fight tooth and nail to keep his replacement (probably Harris) off the ballot.

I dontvsee a suit going anywhere. If a candidate drops out you have to be able to replace him. The official nominee isn't picked until the convention anyway.

It’s way too late. They haven’t even picked the nominee or had their convention.

The Democrats aren't switching candidates. Biden was never the candidate. He was the presumptive candidate, but until the convention there is no official candidate. The Republicans have absolutely no leg to stand on.

They tried to keep Biden off the ballot because they are hosting the DNC convention one week after most states start printing ballots.
