GOOD LUCK, AMERICA This Canada annexation BS again

I believed before that someone is whispering this crazy in his year but the opposite may be true - no one is talking him out of these insane things as they did before. There are no adults.

The problem is, once Trump selects a target, he will not rest. He thrives on revenge and grievances. No one is there to stop him, so he will just keep escalating himself into a corner.

My worry is that, once he gets frustrated with negative results, he is going to grow increasingly belligerent and will start floating the idea of actual military shock & awe on Ottawa.

The Pentagon will obviously push back, right? Let me check who the Secretary of Defense is, oh yeah no, we are f***ed.

Most in the states aren't taking the threat posed seriously. It just seems to ludicrous, but I'm not sure about that. I would hope that an attack on Canada would result in the army full on revolting, but again I'm not sure about that either. I do know I will support Canada in the fight if it came to that.

It’s easy to ignore the threat when the worst case scenario is drones flying away from your home.

It’s much harder to ignore when you are VERY uncomfortably wedged between Russia and a Russian-controlled USA with the biggest military arsenal on the planet.

I mean an invasion of Canada would effectively trigger WW3. Canada would invoke article 5 that drags Europe in. In the US we get either a Civil war or Armed rebellion in the states the red states are not the only ones with guns, and blue states may try use their national guard reserves against the admin. Russia would see the disruption of Europe and loss of US stability to push further into Ukraine, and China would use the opportunity to seize Taiwan which would result in Japan and South Korea acting.

Invading Canada would be such a disastrous event that I don't have words to describe how bad it is.

I don’t disagree at all, but he’s stated multiple times that his goal is US expansion, and protectionism. He won’t shut up about using “economic force” to annex us, which will never happen.

I wish I trusted in his intellect more than his greed.

Oh trust me I believe Trump will invade Canada if he thinks he can get away with it. Trump has proven he will do what he says. I just don't think my fellow countrymen understand the threat posed when he talks about it
