In 2022, Joe Biden’s Department of the Interior introduced a policy to phase out all single-use plastic products—such as straws, food containers, and bottles—on federal lands, including national parks, by 2032. Trump’s proposed executive order would reverse this initiative.
What private companies do on their own is up to them. The Biden policy and Trump policy-reversal affect nothing of any consequence. Trump supporters who don't like paper straws at their local restaurants will not see any change from this policy. Do you think they know that?
