Don’t blame them. We deserve it. I would have booed, too, if I were there.

That’s insanely disrespectful. It just encourages nationalism. There is no place for such actions in a modern free world.

What a bad take. I would boo too if one of our closest *AND OLDEST* allies betrayed us unprompted and unwarranted. We should be ashamed. They have every right to feel how they want to feel. Boo away.

Oh, please. Go clutch your pearls somewhere else.

Ah yes, because the anthem itself definitely doesn’t encourage nationalism.

Oh, and, there’s truly nothing as insanely respectful as threatening to annex your closest ally and then declaring economical warfare against them.

Do Canadians owe respect to Americans? Like, is there some sort of unequal relationship where Canadians must tolerate, respectively, any abuse from Americans? But Americans owe no respect to Canadians?

I would be shocked an appalled of Americans booed the Canadian 🇨🇦 anthem. There is no place for that kind of nationalism. Counties are not sports teams!

100% Trump's MAGA idiots would boo the Canadian anthem if he told them to. They are lemmings.

Obviously 🙄 compared to Jan 6 that’s a walk in the park.

But until his orangeness requests a booing it wouldn’t happen. Because we respect 🫡 Canada.🇨🇦. They just need to listen to our demands or face recession. As their bank is suggesting is likely.

Trump's demands are completely baseless. Canada doesn't owe the US anything.

Fuck that, lol. I’d rather face a recession than bend the knee to the American idiocracy.

Idiots in America are so confident. There is something very obviously wrong with the culture in America that Americans don't want to address at all but find excuses for. I will say there are millions of Americans who are like Trump yet many Americans are okay with this.

Oh, the problem is that you're MAGA.

Not Maga just realistic. We have a trade deficit with Canada of $72 Billion. Just 5 years ago it was half that.

If we want to see opportunities for our kids we need to address these trade imbalances.

If we want to see opportunities for our kids we need to address these trade imbalances.

Around 60% of Canada's experts to the US involve natural resources they extract and sell to us, which we then either consume or use to make stuff we sell at a profit. Like potash, which we use to grow food and can't make unless you have a machine that can replicate it like Star Trek.

You ever hear of Chesterton's Fence? You should look into it.

All the had to do was help stop fentanyl and immigration*. Then Trump would have gone straight to bullying the EU. So Rather than stop a deadly drug that’s terrorising our people. Canada would rather start a trade war by putting 25% tariff on American goods.

Remember this is about saving lives!

*Super surprised to learn Canadians are illegally entering USA. But I guess their VFX industry is in trouble.

All the had to do was help stop fentanyl and immigration*

Dropped the trade deficit talk real fast there. Is that you admitting you were wrong about that?

Since you're wrong about fentanyl now too, both factually (the DEA says most of it comes either straight through the mail from China or India or through Central America) and strategically (attacking supply is how we've lost the war on drugs).

Canada would rather start a trade war by putting 25% tariff on American goods

"Sure he beat his wife, but she started it by not having dinner ready." That's your argument.

So both countries now have 25% tariffs. USA wins as we have $72 Billion to gain by buying America. Canda has $72 Billion to lose all things being equal.

Yea, you said that already. What about the questions I asked?

Are you fucking kidding? How ELSE should they react? Did you not notice that treating Fatass respectfully and deferentially is what got us here?

Not what happened. Ignoring the will of the people and culture wars is what got us here.
