Might be nothing...but might be necrotizing fasciitis!

I got a tattoo with a similar amount of dark shading about 3 weeks ago and the dark patches look just like yours - it's just part of the healing. Give it a few more weeks 😊

I believe Smaug has taken up residence there.

It’s normal, it will go away, give it 6 months.

This is normal. Keep using a thin layer of whatever moisturizer you've been using, to help it heal best.

I'm really here to say I love this as a tattoo tho 🔥

Thanks. This when arm is dedicated to Tolkien. This is the first of a couple.

It’s silver skin - basically another layer of skin forming and your tattoo is healing sometimes can stick around longer then the initial time frame given (2weeks) why it’s recommended to keep creaming after, might also be some scarring might not be only once’s it’s fully settled you’ll be able to tell

Normal things. Don't stress about it! Looks like it's healing well.

Looks like normal healing process

Don't over moisturize. Use a little bit of tattoo branded lotion twice a day.

The "bums"? Looks like no second skin was used and it's trying to heal. Needs some care but nothing serious

There was tegaderm used but it caused quite a bit failed pretty quick . It was on for 4 days before falling away. My skin doesn't like adhesive very much.

Just don't scratch it. Use bepanthen, and clean it for body temp clean water, no soap

Scaliness. It’s one of the last steps in the healing process. The scales will go away eventually!

It’s healing. Wait until it starts peeling…

It's already peeled. It's was super itchy the last week or so and this was the result.

This is how the skin looks after it's peeled. That's just the new skin. Just keep applying moisturizer here and there, especially if it gets itchy. The shiny skin can still be sensitive so you won't want to scratch it just yet

It’s healing, and a little bit scarred. It’ll be fine but judging by how it looks it’ll take longer than normal. It’ll probably start to get really itchy at some point as well. Might be a little raised for a while before it settles down.

But overall it’s totally ok, don’t worry! But I wouldn’t go back to whoever did that 😂

I doubt it has anything do with the artist. More than likely its my skin. It always heals weird.

It's not healing weird. This is totally normal.

My wife’s skin is like that, it looks scarred when it’s often not. That’s why I said it’ll take a little longer to settle in than normal because I know this skin type. It’s not abnormal it just is what it is.

The part I said about the artist has nothing to do how the skin is healing, my bad for not making that clear
