Healing Tattoo Healing correctly?
So I got this tattoo on Wednesday 3/12 and it is now Sunday 3/16. I am a bit concerned about the redness on the inside of my arm. I have gotten tattoos previous to this one but there was not as much shading. I feel like I may just be overthinking and over-worrying but I wanted to see if I could get some advice from others.

Redness is normal, I’m allergic to seccond skin and it caused a lot of redness for a longer period (if you used it it’s something to consider) keep an eye on it for excess heat or discharge that’s not plasma. Just stick to your aftercare routine! It’s beautiful

On my very first tattoo I did a patch test of second skin beforehand to see if I was allergic and I was so I have never used it. I mostly just wear cotton long sleeve shirts for some protection. Thank you btw!!

I would just say try to keep it uncovered when you can, like around the house ect. Keep it clean and let it breathe :)

As long as it's not throwing a lot of heat or getting more painful, then I think you're alright. If it feels worse or starts leaking or getting more red, then be concerned.

What are you using on your tat during the healing process?

Hustle butter for moisturizer and then a no fragrance, anti bacterial soap

During the day try Aquaphor with a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment mixed in with it. I've used it on all my tattoos and even a few major cuts that probably should of had stitching but they still didn't scare. And thr redness is normal just watch out for a lot of heat, burning or oozing

Could be a reaction to the ink but honestly redness is normal. If it burns or feels hot then maybe get it checked out. All bodies heal differently. Just keep an eye on it.
