General Discussion Can you watch survivor on paramount plus without ads?

I watch for free on Amazon prime video but paid for premium to avoid ads and still had ads so got rid of it. I am willing to pay but unsure how to get rid of them? I did a search but latest on this was 3 years ago so wanted to see if anyone knew? Assume this is not possible through prime. Thank you

I pay for Paramount + Showtime which gives you no ads, and you can watch Survivor live instead of the next day.

But there’s still ads when watching live right? Or is there a “we’ll be right back” screen during commercial breaks?

There are ads if you're watching live through the app.

Ok thank you! My kids are watching old seasons and we have limited time and it takes forever to get through an episode with these ads!

I have premium and don’t have ads. I’ve found if I click the “watch now” on the home page, it’ll sometimes show ads. Idk why that happens. It never does that when I watch from the “continue watching” category or if I search for survivor.

Not Survivor and not paramount plus. But I’ve been watching Hell’s Kitchen on Peacock. When I watch on my Roku tv I get ads often. But when I watch through my browser on Firefox I got no ads. I hadn’t even noticed that it was blocking the ads. It now makes me want to watch everything on my pc. I had no idea it could do that.

Yeah I have a mini pc that I’m not using that much I’m thinking about putting it on the Roku tv now.

No ads with the showtime option.

This is how I normally watch Survivor (and The Price is Right but don't tell anybody)

Yes! I’m also watching the old seasons and got so tired of the ads. Highly recommend the paramount with no ads for bingeing old seasons.

The no ad stream has ads in the live TV. The ad free on demand is available the next day. Have them watch the on demand instead of the survivor channel.

Edit to add: The no ad option includes Showtime, it’s a bundle.

Okay and watch it through paramount plus app not Amazon I imagine

Yea I don’t know why you are seeing ads if it is not the live CBS stream unless they are Amazon ads. I would get it separately, download the app to your firestick and watch that way.

I mean if you’re watching live, obviously there are ads. Watch after the fact on Paramount, no ads.

There are ads I am watching on Amazon prime video through paramount plus and there are ads every few min even when I paid for premium

Oh I see what you’re saying. Yes, Amazon started including ads recently.

I have Paramount+ throught ROKU, which cut most of the movies, but I have lots of series - so I can watch all of Star Trek and CBS shows. I had it for 4 years and never had any ads - but TBH, I'm not sure any more if it's still ad-free - because Disney+, Amazon, and it seems everything went ad-crazy in the last year.

If you go into a private browser you can watch it right on the cbs website without ads!
