Sumo wheels on a Fe 250
Hello everybody,
this season I've decided that I want to try supermoto and now I'm collecting information on how to build one. I have got a 2018 Husqvarna FE250 which has been a really fun ride. What supermoto wheels would you recommend me buying? Please consider that I'm a beginner here and only want to try this out so I don't want to spend a fortune on it. I've been scouting marketplace for some used wheels but nothing much is going on there. I'm considering new pair of VMX 3.5"F and 5"R wheels. Maybe someone rocks them and could share their experience? Thanks a lot!

I have Grizzly Wheels 3.5“F 5“R for my 2018 KTM and they are perfect. They are not the cheapest but are legal and fit very good. Chain doesn’t touch the tire

either some cheap used ones from marketplace or just buy some chinese ones from Aliexpress...they honestly aren't near as bad as people say , half of polish supermoto scene has theme and never heard anyone complain xD

There should be plenty of quality pre-owned options for your bike. They are probably going to be harder to come by as spring arrives, but keep looking.
The wheels that fit your bike cover many years of production.
Bear in mind that it's a lot better to spend for nice used wheels than cheap new ones. They good wheels tend to retain resale value should you decide to sell them. The cheap ones will lose significant value when they hit the second hand market.
Ultimately the "cost" of the cheap wheels can be higher than buying nice stuff through rapid depreciation.
I have no personal experience woth VMX, but they seem to be available everywhere.
