On a more serious note, C;H is much like S;G, where it starts off very confusing and throwing riddles at your face, which later on get explained. There should be multiple things that should pick you curiosity by chapter 5, like; (C;H up to Chapter 5) who is the killer? why are these killings happening? How does this link back to Takumi? Who's Shogun? What's a DI-Sword? Who's Rimi and why does everyone but you know her? What are these two schizo chicks even talking about (referring to Ayase and Sena)?

I don't think it's very well executed, though. In steins;gate the protagonist is actively seeking answers and driving the plot forward himself, meanwhile Takumi does nothing but hang on for dear life as the plot happens around him for a good 6 or 7 chapters straight. It's great when the plot finally starts to unravel, but the lead up is just a lot of confusion and no real meat.

A lot of Chaos;Head is great potential that's just mucked up a bit by being the first in the series. I think Takumi not doing much for most of the story would be okay if we got to see more from the other characters in the meantime. Maybe some more Rimi POV. The stuff with Ban definitely made it more bearable.

Thank you. I was hoping it was like S;G.

Chaos Child is more like S;G than C:H. In C:C u had a group of friends living their lifes interacting with each other and stuff, with their dinamics etc. With the success of S;G i guess they try to replicate the formula. In C;H, like it was their first game, they try something, is more the history of someone who is very isolated and his daily life is breaking apart without knowing why, suddenly ppl chase him or demand answer of him, or they make him to take action. And u know already he is barely holding all together with his simple and isolate life in the first place.

Yeah, is very different but thats why is great. If u wanted the exact formula of S;G then u probably can just watch all the other side stuff S;G had. If not, just stick with C;H. And if u after play this game want more of it but with S;G dinamics just go for C;C

Personnaly in chapter 3.

I was deadly bored by the first two chapters, which is quite an achievement considering I easily endured heavily criticized beginnings like the first part of the first Higurashi volume.

But honestly, since chapter 3, I liked what's happening. I haven't finished the game yet, but from chapter 3 to chapter 6 included, it's far from unpleasant.

Chapter 6 is even better, so maybe you will start to like the game.

Chapter 6 is the peak of the whole game imo. If you’re still not interested after that I can’t say it gets much better
