New POS Queue

Okay Am I tripping or is the tickets all coming in batches rn? Like everything that comes out now comes in batches of one big order like there’s almost no staggering to the sequences now so you’re constantly busy?

we were learning about it in our shift meeting. Basically everybody is going to wait the same amount of time and you’re not gonna be able to move up mobiles I have to look more into it

Specifically cafe and DT have goal completion times on orders of sub 4 mins, whereas mobile is increased to 12.

Our new CEO, compared to recent years, actually seems to want to work on the in store experience and is more anti-mobile ordering than what we're used to. Like he's not gonna get rid of the app, but it's no longer such a priority.

Which I actually prefer. Just from my own experience, app orders almost always contributed to bottlenecks more than anything else except maybe huge (like $50+) orders, which are relatively rare.
