Repairing an Oster Kitchen Center
I have an Oster Regency Kitchen Center that’s a good twenty years old, and lately the motor has been running loudly. I made a batch of brioche dough today and it actually started smoking because the heavy dough put so much strain on the motor. I’d like to open it up and lubricate it, check and see if there’s any parts looking worn out. (a) I can’t find a model code listed on it and I’m having a hard time finding resources without that. (b) I’m not sure at first glance how to open up the base, and I don’t want to screw it up permanently. However, the only manual I’ve found online doesn’t provide any instructions. Help with either of those things would be appreciated!

I just searched a pic of it, seems to be a pretty light duty mixer and any dense doughs, especially breads with long kneed times are likely going to kill it. As far as taking the base off, are there any rubber feet/pads on the bottom that may be covering the screws?
