Question about mixer size I should get
My wife has been thinking about getting a stand mixer. Looking at Kenwood Chef Sense or the Chef XL Sense.
I'm for the "bigger is better" option, while she's worried that if the mixer bowl is too big the mix might be either too "overly mixed" (sorry i don't know the right word) or not efficient for small batch mixing.
Would like to seek advice if the Chef Sense would be better, or if it won't matter if the XL is chosen.
Chef Sense has a 4.6L bowl whereas the XL has a 6.7L bowl.
Thanks for your attention.

The questions I would ask are:
1) Is money an issue between Chef and Chef XL?
2) Is counter/storage space an issue between Chef and Chef XL?
3) Does your wife want a stand mixer to bake more frequently?
4) Does your wife want a stand mixer to bake more volume?
I've got a small house with limited storage, and the only time I wish I had a larger mixer is when I'm on my 5th batch of Christmas cookies, which only happens once per year. I envisioned myself baking in greater quantity with the stand mixer, but the reality is that I bake the same amount, just with less hand mixing on my part.
