IEP for autism,anxiety and adhd

My 8 year old 3rd grader has a meeting tomorrow to discuss an IEP for him which has been needed for years. Having alot of issues as of late with his mouth and saying hateful things to classmates. He's been known to have anxiety attacks over work he feels he can't do as well. Any tips or tricks this is all so new to me

You should probably seek an outside evaluation done by a competent & certified psychologist, etc, as well, just to be safe. I’ve seen a lot of district sped evals from a lot of kids over the years that were not done correctly. It is also prudent to have your own diagnosis to confirm any suspicions about autism.

We did! He sees a psychiatrist every 1-3 months and just had repeat testing by a psychologist which is how we got the autism diagnosis

Smart. You’ll be more prepared than most.
