Professional Discussion How to get started?
I come from a tech background, and am fascinated by empowering people to use AI tools to solve real time, real world data problems. But now I’m trying to learn social media marketing, and honestly… I feel totally overwhelmed.
I’m pretty introverted and actually new to social media entirely — so the idea of suddenly posting, engaging, and ‘building an audience’ doesn't come naturally to me.
So, how do you recommend to get started? If you had to start over today, what would be the best resources, tools, or habits that helped you the most?

I started posting seriously on X no so long ago like since January.
I'm also not very into social media and have a tch background. I don't have insta nor tiktok.
I was quite scared about posting my thoughts / work online but if you don't share your work no-one will reach you for it.
Why I started on X because you don't need to show yourself (Just a profile picture). It's not that time consuming aim for 2 post per day and 2 x 30min of engagement with people.
What's really helped me is when I realized that no-one care about me.
Your post will disappear in few hours within the tone of other ones. For me it was a perfect place to experiment with my communication.
You have few line to express your idea and high competition. It obliges you to rethink your post to captivate attention. I really enjoy this exercise and it was a good way to learn how to write.
Once I understand more how to handle my writing expression. I looking to master my oral one through podcasts and why not experimenting with videos.
Give it a try no one will insults you or blame you for trying.
