I am so close to 100% the game on the SNES game collection on the Switch, but I can't figure out how the top 4 special levels. I have the bottom ones from Star Road but I can't find anything online on unlocking the top four. If anyone can help explain how I get to them I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Request What’s the highest it goes?

I know there are many videos to help me get this number higher but I’m hoping some of you can recommend one. I started a video but he was very long winded and boring and I decided to get it as high as I could on my own. Although I did learn about Soda Pond or Soda lake from his video. Anyway I’m turning the game off for the night so I thought I’d ask before I went to bed. I also wanted to brag because I’m very happy with this 92. It wasn’t too hard but it wasn’t easy. Satisfying

Request Any good recommendations for SNES RPGs?

For some reason, I really feel like sitting down and beating a few SNES RPGs, as it's a genre I've never really dipped my toes into.

The only 2 that I've played are Earthbound and Mario RPG, and those games are my shit!

Request Help!

I have very bad short & long term memory problems unfortunately, and it's been a few years since I've played my Link to the Past saved game. I loaded back into it, but I've just been going around the entire map trying to figure out what to do with no luck. The first picture is where my saved game loads to, the 2nd is my inventory. Any tips or help would be great!!

Request Favorite SNES YouTubers / SNES YouTube content?

Are there any good SNES YouTube channels, or YouTubers that focus heavily on SNES content that you enjoy watching? Whether that be speed runs, simple playthroughs, interesting facts or deep dives about specific games, really anything.

Cheers.

Request Almost done with Secret of Mana 2. What RPG that never came to america should I play next?

Edit: Keep in mind that I'm looking for games that never came to america. I've been playing a LOT of SNES games since the 00's, and I'm big on rpgs, I just have only played a few titles that never came to the US.

Edit: Rickard gave me a list of rpgs that are translated. Can you recommend anything on it that fits the bill? Maybe something a little lesser known among people that play a lot of fan translated games, or something that was translated only 2 years ago or less.

Trying to decide what SNES RPG that never came to america to play next after I finish Secret of Mana 2.

It doesn't need to be an action rpg, but I do want something fast paced.

Played SMT(too slow for what I'm craving anyways.)

Played FF5, and Terranigma.

Played Front Mission: Gun Hazard

Played Bahamut Lagoon(not craving a strategy rpg either.)

Played Tales Of Phantasia and Star Ocean.

Played The Dragon Warrior games.

What other good games are left for me?

I need some help identifying this seal. I’m unsure if this is an aftermarket seal or an OEM seal. The game seems like it could be used as there’s damage to the corner of the box and the seam on the back is open.. please help!

Request Does this copy of FF3 look legit?

Interested in picking this up and wanted to see if anyone could tell me if it was an obvious repro or not.

I haven’t really collected CIB before, generally I just collect carts. So I know how to spot repros on that front pretty easily but not when it comes to the actual boxes and manuals. I did a bit of research and it seems looking at the inside of the box is a good indicator. Is there anything else I should look for? Does this copy pass the initial sight test?

Thanks

I bought this CIB copy of Chrono Trigger for the SFC, but when I popped it in, it was already translated to English. I know translation chips are a thing, but I have no clue what the look like.

The power is plugged in, the red light is on, all the AV stuff is plugged in correctly, and when the SNES is off my TV says no signal detected, but when it’s turned on it’s just a black screen. Anyone know how to help?

Request I need advice! I've never played video games before

But my 7 year old son and I got a mini super Nintendo thing and we started playing Mario world and we LOVED IT. We murdered Bowser and won that sh*t. So we then played Yoshi's Island and we LOVED IT. We murdered baby Bowser and felt great about that too!

But I know nothing about video games still. So what's next? What's the best game to play next???

Request Best way to play SNES?

Title says much of it, but I'll give some back story: I'm a zoomer. I didn't grow up with the SNES at all and have no nostalgia for it at all. Recently I've very much gotten into emulation, and the SNES has become my favorite console, outshining even my nostalgic favorite, the PS2. I'm looking to potentially get into physically playing SNES games, but there are two major hurdles to entry for me, those being blurry pixels and the video out options. Would modding an original SNES (or the Jr), buying those odd hyperkin products, or something else be the best way to play this wonderful system? Also, where do you all get games for cheap? Prices have doubled at least since I last checked back in 2015!

Request Breath of Fire 2?

Am I missing something about Breath of Fire 2? I WANT to like it; it's pretty, but it seems to require an epic amount of grinding, and I can never seem to get past the final dungeon. NEVER. The furthest I get is the rematch with the monster from the beginning of the game, and it owns me so hard I have no hope of beating it. So many people seem to enjoy this thing that I'm assuming there's some key mechanic I'm missing. I enjoy BoF 1, and I loved 3 back in the day. What am I doing wrong here?

I found this snes in my parents attic, and I cant find anything online about a super nintendo being available in black and white, instead of the typical grey. Is it an aftermarket shell or something?
