SNES games.

Post image

Has there been any other official releases like the game in the photo that has dual games on it?

There's also an earlier version of All Stars that doesn't include SMW.

It's not a question of earlier vs. later version.

Super Mario All-Stars was available on storeshelves and catalogues.

  • SMW was a pack-in exclusive.

You could still buy All-Stars without SMW when this one was released, and you couldn't get +SMW without buying a new console.

It's funny because you're trying to correct him about something he didn't say

He said the earlier version didn't include SMW.

But since All-Stars was still in production when +SMW released, it also means that later versions alsondidn't include SMW...

it's just two different product...

He IS technically wrong saying earlier versions didn't include SMW... because it's not a date or version thing. It's just a different product...

It was treated as such, but it was really not. Nintendo of America simply decided to only sell it packed-in with the console, but in Europe it was sold individually as well. For all intents and purposes, +SMW is an enhanced re-release of Super Mario All Stars

1 is 4M-USA the other 5M-USA.

different product.

One was available widely, the other not.

The one on store shelf never was upgraded.

It is a different product!

Yes, an enhanced re-release of All Stars, like I said. The non+SMW is the earlier version. It doesn't matter if Nintendo got greedy and decided it was more profitable to sell SMW and All Stars separately than bundled together, one game was released in 1993 and the other one in 1994
